Definitely a great board game and hopefully a half decent iOS app.

    great game

It is. Plays very quickly on the iPhone/iPad too compared to playing the board game. Can easily knock a game over in a couple of minutes against the CPU.

    $9 on android :(

  • "This application requires iOS 9.0 or later"
    Are you kidding me?
edit: got the message but it seems to be downloading fine

This refers to the latest version. If you are on an older version of iOS your device will download the most recent supported version.

      • Ahh cool

AppShopper is your friend for price history:

It usually goes free for 2 days once a year.

  • Does anyone know how this compares to the non-pocket version? Will they look OK on iPad?

    • +2

I have both the iPad and Pocket editions. I expect it to look okay (graphics will look a little soft when you use screen doubling), though not as good as any native iPad app. The iPad app obviously takes advantage of the bigger screen.

Bottom line: it should play just fine.

I played the pocket editions just fine on the iPad 3, and now iPad mini 2.
Not paying for the iPad version (it's overpriced).

  • Free ticket to Europe!!
    Skim reading :)

Offers in app-purchases — any one know if these purchase kill the 'FREE-NESS' of this game???

    • +1

It allows you to buy the expansions directly, the base game is exactly like the boardgame.

Sweet.. Just hate when there a "free' game on offer and u have to buy stuff in game to keep playing i.e. Fifa for iOS

        • At least on iOS it tells you what the IAPs are (even if they don't make sense haha), it annoys me that you can't find out in Google Play beforehand.

        • No standards with android/google apps. Apple at least have some control.

    • I have the iPad version and it lets you buy expansions. The base game is completely playable though.

I play the board game version, it has better graphics.

  • top game

I agree, I enjoy this game, I have been playing it for about 18 month. It looks tricky but it's not.

    Thank you.

  • A much better board game than Monopoly.

    • Pretty much any game is better than Monopoly…
