    These are RETINA iPad mini which means they are iPad mini 2 these are NOT iPad mini 1

    were these ever going to be in stock? called my local target, they went away for a long time and when they eventually came back, they sounded rather smug that they didn't have stock, when it was obvious they'd just ferreted the lot away for staff?! probably less than 10 in the whole country actually available for customers to buy!

    I have got an ipad Mini 1 and still on iOS 7 and running quite slow some times to times. I would not recommend buying an iPad Mini even at that price because they will probably come with the last iOS. If not, do not update to iOS higher than 7.
    Go at least for the iPad Mini 2 if you can.

    Ipad mini 2 has same specs as mini 3 minus the touch id so best getting 64gb cellular vs 16gb

      I ordered one online around 4:00am (was wakeup watching champions league football) with click and collect at carousel target. Just received the confirmation email (7:30am).Was ipad2 WiFi + 3g.

    Can't find iPad Air 64GB anywhere. Did anyone find it at all? Two IPad 4th gen 64gb were in stock at Perth city in the morning. They weren't aware of the offer. I left the counter to check Air stock at couple other stores (from their customer service counter after requesting to hold one). Barely 5 min later was told sold out to someone (maybe self :P)

    Anybody bought from Target Pointcook or Werribee plaza today? I went to both the stores in the morning before 8:30, they were clueless about this. Somebody told me it is in US site target.com.. I asked the guy at pointcook target to scan all in his stock and he did and told me all are showing the full price.

    Managed to score an Ipad Mini 3 16Gb WiFi for $299 from Target Whitfords at 10.30am WA time. They had three Ipad 2 16Gb (WiFi and 3G cellular) models left for $299 each as well. This was after a quick phone around of the Joondalup, Ocean Keys, Innaloo and Stirling stores, none of whom had any clearance stock.

        cheers man! got myself a blue (MD477ZP/A) and pink (MD475ZP/A) one. says 2014 on the back. a few left @ blacktown.

        there is another A1446 blue model with a different number but that one scans at $219. i'm guessing that's the 2015 version?

          yep that sounds like the updated nanos.

          another downside (for me anyway) is that they don't come with an integrated clip. so i got a case with a clip off ebay for $2-3

    Rang target Erina early in the morning there was stock but stuff confirmed not for clearance. scanning showed price is not 299.

      If you give the Target Customer Support line a ring at 1300 753 567 they should be able to help you out. What I did was, I gave them a call before going in, and ensured that the price of the iPad/iPod online is reflected in store before going up to one of the staff. Even had the nice girl stay on the phone with me to talk to the staff in case there was some sort of disagreement :)

Tried ringing target customer service and told me that they are sold out nationwide (she also mentioned ozbargain). Really not sure if im going to keep it or return it though haha

      Ipad with retina for sure. That has A6 chip in it at least, better dpi and unless you really want 7.9" display and the extra 32gb.
