        That's very mice!

    • I have this mouse and I don't think its all that great, it looses Bluetooth connection and it does not work perfectly on all surfaces also it won't work with my 5 year old laptop because it only connects to devices with Bluetooth Smart technology.

      • It also comes with an USB receiver. So, it will work on computer with USB port as well.

        • It still doesn't work very well with the usb receiver and it also defeats the point of buying an expensive bluetooth device that doesn't as intended.

        • @Junk Collection:i dont have any problems with my mx anywhere 2 connection. It uses the same unifying usb dongle as the mx anywhere 1. I plugged the dongle that came with it on my tv , n using the same unifying dongle as my mx anywhere 1 on my pc n connected it via bluetooth on my laptop.
Its pretty much the same as the anywhere mx 1 except it lets u swap between 3 devices n has an inbuilt lithium batt. Batt life is really good as well.

Ooh had a look at the logitech forums. Looks like other ppl where unlucky as well.Read user complaints its not accurate.
Their reporting to run into problems on a mac.
Imo Logitech have poor mac support compatibility with their products.
I also think its the bluetooth that makes the mouse not accurate. I had a jumping cursor problem on my orochi connected via bluetooth. Havent had any problems with accuracy on my mx anywhere 2 though.

Useless mouse, laggy, loses connection, lots of excuses from logitech but they really shouldn't have to be making any for the price they are asking.
Here's some other people's thoughts on the MX at the logitech forum https://forums.logitech.com/t5/Mice-and-Pointing-Devices/MX-…

  • Can anyone recommend a decent Bluetooth mouse seeing as this one isn't that great…

I bought one a few months back and returned it a week later. Went to RMA at Logitech and they acknowledged my issue described below.

They are really laggy if you're not using it with the official Logitech 'Smart' USB receiver as it conflicts with WiFi 2.4Ghz band. Basically I paired it with the laptop, everything was fine, then I'd start surfing the web and the mouse would start to lag; try downloading a file and it was unusable. A friend who bought one also had the same experience. If you don't have WiFi (ha!) or are only running WiFi 5Ghz band, then they would be ok.

However for me one of the key points of buying a 'premium' Bluetooth mouse in the first place is that it's portable and you don't need to plug in a USB receiver which consumes a USB port and in turn makes the laptop not fit in its slim carry case. It's not very portable when you can't use it anywhere that has Wifi 2.4Ghz enabled (i.e. most places).
