this would be useful to get some free uber rides

    • Elaborate?
Going to be in Melbourne in a few days, free uber rides would be extremely handy.

      • uber registers an account to your phone number. So you can make a new account if you have a new number and use the same paypal account. There's always some coupons going around for free first ride so just pump that in. Or you could 'refer a friend' and supply the new number, that way your main number and new number both get a free ride

Just check that these SIM cards aren't expired. About a month ago i was at the local Kmart wanting to buy one of these Optus $2 starter SIM's (they were 5c then too) and all the starter packs had an expired date on them. My bet is that all these SIM cards that they're selling for cheap have an expired date on them so they are useless since it can't be activated.

  • other stores too?

    why even charge 5c?

the work and resources wasted to charge 5c lol

  • Buy tons of those and have Optus version of the protest in CBD!

  • Besides being 5c, why should I buy these?

    • I guess they're good for a cheap way of porting out your number.

      • Ah ok!

    Kmart bankstown still $2

  • Went to Kmart (Cannon Hill, Brisbane) to look for $5 heart rate monitor, $3 Vodafone USB modem with 3GB data, & these.

All I found were Optus $2 data SIM for 5c each. Bought 2. Expiry 2/16.

    But only nano were 5c.

Handy to port numbers between phone SIMs.
