the first time they did this promo, someone on their FB page complained about the '1st time order' thing, and they replied saying that they could order using the discount codes anyway. It's been the same since.

Curious if you can share your techniques? Everytime I try this with these food delivery sites, it works out I'm not a new customer and won't apply the discount. Even if I try a different phone number and slight variation of my address.
Having said that, like chillybags, I have used this particular Delivery Hero Tuesday discount "off your first order" about 5 times now with the same account.
I'm not sure I've done it plenty of times.
They are obviously figuring out you are an existing customer somehow, I would assume they would mention what the issue is on signing up.

This weekly deal gets so much hate but i guess it's where you live.

40% no delivery fees Pizza
and an array of 30% etc.
Even at lunch time, there was a 50% deal in my area. Got a $13 pizza + cheesecake.

None in my area accept the code "This coupon code is not valid for this restaurant."
If you look at the cart, below should show a coupon.
The ones that have the discount have the words 50PercentOff 40PercentOff 30PercentOff etc in the restaurant name and the discount automatically applies. .
I actually had to use the code '50PercentOff1' for mine, make sure you put the '1' on the end if it don't work
@strikerzebra: my usual Nepalese place in north Sydney had the code in the heading but since the code is so long the '1' was cut off, I then saw it at the bottom of the order menu screen

I've found a couple of restaurants that every Tuesday during the day will say 50% or 40% but come opening time the restaurant itself disappears completely from Delivery Hero. Is this just the restaurant not wanting to participate? Do they have to cover the cost of the discoun? I notice they are still listed as open on Menulog and eat now.

Do these restaurants get full price out of these discounted deals? I've become quite fond of the local pizza shop I been using on delivery hero (they've had 40% off every time this deal comes up) and would hate to see them go out of business as a result of these deals!
