    Holy moly that's cheap!!!

  • Pricing error or scam?

I dunno. For a day before departure I'm surprised super discounts like this aren't more common.

  • Their Quantum of the Seas ship looks insane.

    Normal price?

Same. I called the agent and they said that it's an error from the Royal Caribbean's own system. They weren't able to book.

Damn, sounds like a royal screw up to me

Sounds like the ship has already sailed and they found the loophole =p

You can't get absolute last minute deals anymore as the passenger manifests have to be submitted a while in advance these days.

    • How does that work? They are obviously still selling rooms for tomorrow's departure, they just aren't deals (assuming this is a pricing error).

      • +1

They have to close sales and submit the manifests 24-48 hours in advance. You used to be able to turn up at the port and score an absolute last minute, but that's just not an option these days.

        • Ah you mean at the gate last minute. Makes sense. Still don't get why within 24-48hrs they don't just drop prices to try and cover their costs. Same with airlines I guess.

@Hoju: because then a substantial proportion of customers would wait until those seats opened up. Like how you get certain people refusing to buy anything on Steam, unless it's on sale. Like me.

  • So how many from OzB were able to book?

    • +4

Zero. But it was fun to dream.

  • Clicked on the link said departure date 1 jan 1970… I think that boat may already sailed. So this offer was in the past?:) travel back in time tell self to buy the tickets then await for 2015

    • price would actually make sense then due to inflation
