  • Ok im a bit confused

Ive never used qantas site for shopping

Is this like cash rewards? Wherebyou go throghh qnatas site and get 4 pts ber dollar for ebay

Can you dbl dip into it using cashrewaeds too?

    • +2

      Yes for the first question
      No for the second

You'd be better to use cashrewards, surely, for most of those. Actual cash beats FF points (almost) anyday!

    • +4

I'm not sure but if some of these stores are no on cash rewards this is a good alternative.

    Belongs in forums

      "IT BELONGS IN A MUSEUM"

That's not a nice way to talk about jv

  • Wish it included TV's I need to buy a 65" and more QFF pints the better.

    • +3

David Jones, eBay and Kogan all sell TVs. Could you buy your new TV through their website to earn the FF points?

  • Yeah cash (rewards) is king and will always beat out frequent flyer points. It's probably best for those retailers not offering $ rewards.

  • What did you say alcoano?

Given the resale value of iPhones you could buy 10 of them at David Jones, then sell on ebay and get 120k points for basically nothing.

But if you are selling at the same price, as a buyer I'd rather buy it straight from Apple Store/David Jones than an eBay seller

And as a seller, there is this high eBay fee too, so it's kind of a loss I think?

I wanted to try something similar, but noticed the fine print in the T&C:

"Qantas points are also not awarded on all products from the following brands; CHANEL, Apple, Dior, Country Road, Witchery, Trenery and Mimco."

  • never got the points from Kogan after 3 months! Scam?

    • Hi Droid11 - send us a private message with your Order ID and we'll take a look into this with you.

      • PM sent. Hope to hear from you soon

  • cheers!

Found Appliances Online in Q Mall, very competitive prices for big 4 items I need to buy for new abode, all up spend a bit over $10K, sent email, they came back within the hour, all in stock, will deliver for free and voucher for $400 discount to boot, so with 4 points per $ spent and another 1 point for credit card works out to 50K QFF points! so will add those to the 400K I currently have.
