  • Nutritionally terrible, but presumably if you're going to buy them you don't care. In which case, might as well get them as cheap as possible. Bargain.

these taste horrible. years ago when i ate them. they tasted great like they were fresh egg noodles or something.

recently they started tasting like paper mache.

    • They made them healthy.

I agree, these taste terrible, they used to be good.

      • at least i use my tongue more than the back of my throat for the things i eat, JOHN WEI

        • this comment made my day ;)

    • About a year ago they switched from being made in Australia to made in Fiji. That may be the difference.

Mee Goreng, or the Nong Shim range you can get at Coles are the best noodles.

    • I second the choice of "Indomie Mi Goreng". It is much more edible and tastier, and it was the food of choice when I was a student. Although they do sell them at Coles, I find that they are normally much cheaper if you get them in a box of 30-packets from oriental grocery stores. In WA, they average about $10 per box, but Coles sell them at around 45 cents per packet.

      • Me three. This is a great deal if you love the Maggi noodles, but I think that the Indomie noodles taste way better, and you can usually pick up a box of 30 or 40 for $10 at any decent asian grocery store.

    • Add me to the Mi Goreng fan club, and my two kids. You know they must be good when your 24 yr old son (whom lives on them since he has moved interstate for a new job) rings you, extremely excited because he just discovered if you mix the BBQ and the Satay flavours together it creates an awesome dining experience!

  • +1 for price, -100 for taste. LOL

  • The Maggi Noodles of old were made in Australia, which I reckon use local ingredients and the texture and flavour of the noodles were great, the current ones are imported and may not be using the same quality flour, they don't have the same springy-ness.

I stocked up on the old ones before they got phased out but now I'm all out… :(

    • yeh lack of springyness. thats the problem. they taste powdery and break down too easily before u even chew them. also the flavouring is too intense and artificial

      asian instant noodles ftw

  • I love these!
I have likke 20 packs of these in my cubboard, best snack ever.

    Heres how I make them..

Boil water in kettle, put boiling water in saucepan and bring to boil, once boiling add noodles without flavoring, cook for 4 minutes. Then drain water, mix in the flavorin (CHICKEN FTW) and add cheese.
    Very healthy.

  • good food for the ultimate tightass

  • I still think Nissan make the best noodles. but this is a bargain nun the less.

    • Nissan makes cars :)

Yeah I agree, it's either Nong Shim, Nissin and Indomie. The top three brands of noodles.

Maggi pales in comparison to the asian noodle brands.
