    Reviews are pretty bad.

1024×600 for Windows is just a miserable experience.

resolution is fine on a 7" display.

I don't mean it's not aesthetically pleasing, I mean hard to use. You have to do this horrible upscaling trick to use Metro apps and you'll be scrolling like crazy getting anything else done.

      • The resolution might be "acceptable" on a 7in device, but Windows (esp. non metro apps) won't. Many applications simply don't run at that low a resolution.

non-metro?? Metro itself will not run at that resolution. It needs to be fooled by downscaling. Hideous!
Desktop apps might work at native res.
Unless this thing has hdmi-out, it is next to useless.

  • If you think this is bad, wait till you try the ACER small Windows tablet. They can't even turn on without plugging in to the socket !!!

  • 1024 x 600, 1Gb Ram, 2Gb free space (Similar to the $99 pendo Target were selling)
You would be better off with a Chuwi HI8 (Similar price)

    • I returned mine, they use KMS activations to keep Windows licensed which isn't strictly legal to advertise a kms server. If you don't keep it online it will deactivate Windows until you go back online. I had issues connecting to their server and supports non existent. The hardware was very good.

That will be your worst nightmare. 16GB cannot handle anything at all - impossible to use Windows update whilst having office installed (latest updates will not go through due to insuffiecenit memory - needs heaps of twicking). Using the touch function on a 7Inc is pretty much impossible (my fingers couldn't do it!). How do I know that? Already owned (and sold) a Toshiba 8Inc and a unisurf 7Inc (bin). Anyway, just trying to help.

  • recipe for massocism.
buy an ipad or ipad mini and spend just a bit more.
how much is your time and patience worth?

  • Hp Stream 7 is much better & cheaper choice then this btw. Just saying
