A bit meh after the recent barrage of xbox deals. I would personally wait and see if there is anything else better on the horizon.

Yeah the Target deal with 25% off was $10 more and new with Fifa16.
Kinect is the only kinda good part of this deal since they're becoming more rare to find.

      • +1

they're about $100 overpriced made worse by the fact i cant find warranty details

  • +1

i paid $279 for a brand new xb1 500gb plus 13 months of EA access and free shipping after i sold the fifa 16 for $40!

it makes this deal look really meh

Why didn't you post the deal? And does it come with a time machine?

      • +1

the deal did get posted, it was the target deal (13 months EA access if you got it early before they screwed up)

  • whats reconditioned mean, Second Hand?

and I know nothing about xbox1 but what does "rechargeable battery & USB charging cable not included" mean for the controller? do they normally not have a battery in the controller?

    • +2

I was just about to post the exact same thing …

      • The people at OO probably never seen an xbox one ever.

It runs on AAs… I expect the original owner lost the micro usb cable, Not that its needed except to sync.

        • Maybe I missed it in the box but I bought a new xbox one recently and it just came with duracell batteries. No cable of any sort.

        • @mark96:
really, the controller doesnt have a rechargable battery inside? man, thats pretty tight of them.

        • @PVA:

Eh I much prefer AA's to be honest, don't have to have it plugged in while I play (or ever for that matter), plus gives me a use for my eneloops :)

        • @Benjamin7711:
why would you be plugged in if the controller comes with a rechargable battery. our ps3 you play wireless but doesnt have aa batteries. Thats what I meant, I thought xbox would be the same, charge the controller and play fox x days until it flashes low battery.

the ps3 controller lasts ages on a charge, how long do the xb one controllers last with AA batteries - genuine question, i am not trying to stir xbox v ps fan wars.

might ask on the forums I guess.

    • They are probably trying to be explicit. Xbox One console packages don't come with rechargable controllers, they use a pair of AA's. The play-n-charge packs are sold for < $30, which include a long charger cable and li-ion battery to upgrade an existing controller.

      • thanks, I never knew it had AA's, thought it would be like our old PS3 (thought PS4 and xbox1 would be rechargable). is that the same for xbox 360 too?

        • +1

Same deal with previous gen. Comes as AA, recharge upgrade is $30

        • @dpi:
          thanks.

        • @dpi:
what does the recharge kit have for $30.
If I put rechargable AA's in the controller don't I just need a lead (usb to micro) like the PS?

        • +1

          @PVA:

See AA usage versus play n charge.

You can use a standard micro USB cable in both scenarios, and the controller will run off the USB power. But if you are using the rechargable battery, it will also charge it when plugged into USB.

It means 'second hand repaired lemon'.

i'd rather buy a brand new console for 30 bucks more.
