Tronsmart 5 Port Charger AU** for $22.99 US (~$33 AU) with the coupon PMAOXPYF

Tronsmart Type C USB 3.1 Car Charger for $12.99 US (~18 AU) with the coupon UJCBEIEI
Or add both to the cart for $35.49 (~$50 AU) using the coupon ZZUULJMD

TNT shipping (3-5 days) has also been reduced significantly on the 5 Port and Bundle!

Tests have shown that a 3500mAh battery can be charged from 0% to 60% in only 30 minutes for any compatible device using Qualcomm's Quick Charge 2.0 technology. The chargers also utilities a technology called VoltIQ that is able to detect the charging protocol used in the device to provide the fastest possible charge without the risk overheating, overcharging, short circuiting etc. This is useful for any device that does not support Quick Charge 2.0.

Some of the Quick Charge 2.0 Compatible models include:

  • Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Samsung GALAXY Note Edge
  • LG G4, LG G Flex2, LG V10,
  • HTC One M9, HTC One M8, HTC One Mini, HTC Desire Eye, HTC One A9, One Remix
  • Sony Xperia Z3, Z3 Compact, Z4, Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet, Z4 Tablet
  • Google Nexus 6
  • Motorola Droid Turbo, Motorola Moto X, Moto X Pure
  • ASUS Zenfone 2 Series
  • Xiaomi Mi3, Mi4, Mi Note
  • ZTE Axon Pro

None-QC2.0 devices are also able to be charged slightly faster due to the VoltIQ protocol (iPhone, iPad, Nexus etc).

And finally, please check out our Coupon Zone and Singles' Day Promotion for more awesome deals!

  • I'll be mixing it up each week, so the normal Car Chargers and MicroUSB packs will probably be next week.

    • +1

Man, I've been waiting on the regular ones for awhile now.

    • duuuude you promised a cable bundle deal

      • +1

        I don't always have a choice unfortunately.

  • +1

A little more expensive than your last deal on the 5 port but appreciated nonetheless.

  • +1

Thank You! Been waiting on deals for QC car chargers. Any chance you can offer a discount on this dual port?

I'll ask for a coupon, but if I don't get one, it will be in the next deal.

      • I need one as well OP :)

  • +2

Used TNT on the last deal for about 80c extra and the charger arrived in 4 days.

  • Just wondering can this charger charge core m laptop?

    • Depends on the laptop. AFIK even the yoga 3 pro still uses 20v on its usb charger.

  • Type C cables as well for those nexus 6p owners!

  • Can the Tronsmart Type C USB 3.1 Car Charger do 5V 3A output over the type C cable?
The specs list the type C output as only 5V 2.4A max, but the total power output of the charger is 36W and I'm sure 12W (type C) + 18W (QC) ≠ 36W. I'm hoping it's a typo cause it would be great for those new nexus devices…

    Answer to my own question:

    Amazon review

    tl;dr
Nothing at the moment beats the official Google 5V 3A charger, but the Tronsmart Type C USB 3.1 Car Charger still does a good job of charging.

  • Gah! I bought two of the BlitzWolf chargers two weeks ago! Ah well, I'd like to utilize QC so this should be handy :)
Thanks OP! TNT is cheap for faster postage :D

  • any reason why they've made the type C car charger a built in cable, rather than separate cable? they could have just packaged the regular USB car charger with a type C cable instead of the regular micro USB cable, without having to manufacture a totally new charger.

i don't currently have any type C devices anyway, but if i did, i'd prefer the cable to be removable (like my current Tronsmart 3-port).

anyway, keep up the good work, clear! :)

    • Both ports are QC2 so you can connect anything else that doesn't use USB 3.1 Type C.

Tronsmart have actually released some new car charges with the exact same design for MicroUSB.

      • I prefer the flexibility of being to charge whatever combination of devices (eg. two iPhones), particularly if there's only two ports. Also, the ability to take the cable with you, if needed, and to store the charger away separately.

But yeah, I guess for the most part this will be fine for people who's main phone/device is type c.

The older Tronsmart chargers are still the best option for a multi-device mixed-port family, I reckon! :)

  • hey OP, any deals on the micro usb car charger like this?
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/212641

    • Will be a deal on probably the 2 or 4 port next time.

      • Need one asap :(

        • I'll see what I can do. I won't get a response till Monday or Tuesday unfortunately.

        • @Clear: ok thanks Clear!

        • @Clear: Any response?

  • Any recommendations of a good USB type C cable that i would be able to use with the new apple tv for sideloading?

    • An adapter like this may be better suited. It's designed for the Macbooks, so it should work with a new Apple TV.

  • Bought one last week at full regular price…including tnt postage cost $35.40.

So the discount is about $1.40?

    • $7 US discount on the 5 port and TNT depends on where you live.

  • Great, ordered the bundle.
I wish the car charger could have the cable disconnected for a clean look when you arent using it, but beggars cant be choosers!

  • i bought the 5 port, not as cheap as the last deal but i wanted another decent charger..

  • I want three of them - excellent christmas presents for teenage kids - but discount only applies once. Do I have to create 2 more fake IDs or can I just buy 3 at the same time?

  • Is there much different between this one and the Blitzwolf one ?

Currently using Blitzwolf one from this deal (AU $14.35)
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/210691

I don't understand how the prices can be so different

    • +1

Because this supports Quick Charge and the other one doesn't

    • "I don't understand how the prices can be so different"

They're not so different anymore, the Blitzwolf is double that price now.

    • To elaborate on what DJ said, if you have a device compatible with Qualcomm's Quick Charge technology then you'll be able to charge a lot quicker than your standard charger. As quoted in my post "Tests have shown that a 3500mAh battery can be charged from 0% to 60% in only 30 minutes". You would not be able to achieve this with the Blitzwolf.

  • is there any chance to get QC2 5-Port USB Charger with usb cable bundle?

    • It's probably going to be a car charger with microusb next. After that it'll probably be 5 port and microusb.

  • What is the length of the USB C cable?

  • Can I please put in another deal request for the 3 port wall charger? :)

  • +1

Mine just arrived, QC2 is awesome!

The $0.24USD TNT courier charge was so worth it. TNT delivery on this deal beat the last deal via China Post and that had a 13 day head start!
