You guys keep asking for more deals on the Tronsmart range, so I'm back again with more deals! Tonight we have…

Tronsmart Quick Charge 2.0 5-Port USB Charger (AU Plug) for $21.99 US (~$30AU) with the coupon: ABZPQWCT

Tronsmart 3ft*3 High Speed MicroUSB 3 Pack for $4.59 US (~$6AU) with the coupon: LIEJPZMF

Or add both to the cart and use the coupon: LCRDDWWU to get both for $25.99 US (~$35AU)

All orders include free shipping, but faster shipping methods (DHL/TNT/EMS) are available!

With the 5-Port USB Charger tests have shown that a 3500mAh battery can be charged from 0% to 60% in only 30 minutes for any compatible device using Qualcomm's Quick Charge 2.0 technology. The charger also utilities a technology called VoltIQ that is able to detect the charging protocol used in the device to provide the fastest possible charge without the risk overheating, overcharging, short circuiting etc. This is useful for any device that does not support Quick Charge 2.0. The charger also includes an AU cable, so you don't have to worry about using a flimsy adapter.

Some of the Quick Charge 2.0 Compatible models include:

  • Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Samsung GALAXY Note Edge
  • LG G4, LG G Flex2
  • HTC One M9, HTC One M8, HTC One mini
  • Sony Xperia Z3, Z4, Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet, Z4 Tablet
  • Google Nexus 6
  • Motorola Droid Turbo, Motorola Moto X
  • ASUS Zenfone 2 Series
  • Xiaomi Mi3, Mi4, Mi Note

The 3 pack of MicroUSB cables are not like a lot of other cheap microusb cables found on the internet, as they're made from high quality materials and are able to provide faster charging and data syncing of up to 480Mbps with error-free data transmission. They make a perfect companion for any Quick Charge 2.0 phone and charger.

  • Thanks.

  • Thanks, is there a coupon for both the above plus the 2 port QC2 car charger?

  • You mastered the arsecodes JV

    • +1

I know how much you love random codes. Perhaps this pic is better suited for King Tightarse?

      • Lol

  • What do you think the ETA is on this item with paid postage ?

    • Processing is on average up to 3 days and you can expect it to arrive in 2 or 3 days with DHL or TNT.

      • Ok thanks will purchase it then. I am moving so can't risk it taking 3 weeks.

        • TNT seems to be very cheap for everyone right now. <$2.

    • Last time I ordered one shipped via TNT. Order placed 30th Sept, and it arrived in Sydney metro area 6th Oct (3 business days).

  • list price $7.00, sale price $6.99. Is Geekbuying owned by woolworth or Coles?

    • I think you missed the coupon part. List price is $6.99US and sale price is $4.59US.

      • I know, I was just refering to this, good price after coupon, thanks OP.

        • I just got what you meant… the strikethrough price on the site…

  • anyone know how is Geekbuying's after sale service? like says comparing Gearbest, Dx ect.

    • Usually it can take up to 3 days for a response through email, but you will get much better service if you let them know that you purchased from "the deal site, Ozbargain". Alternatively I can pass on your order number to customer service and tell them the exact same thing.

  • +1

    Thanks grabbed both of them.

  • are those cables any good?

    • You can check out the last 2 deals [here]https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/211985) and here. I think it's safe to say that people are very happy with them.

      • I wasn't particularly happy after my last purchase. The car charger is great but I emailed regarding unusually big sparks (not just little ones) when I turned on the wall charger using the cheap AU adaptor supplied, and told them I felt it was unsafe, and then they wanted me to plug it in again, video it and show them!

Happy to so long as they pay for my house or me if something goes wrong.

        • Unfortunately those included adapters are quite bad compared to using a travel adapter or multi adapter powerboard. I avoid posting deals with those for that reason.

        • Yeah… I wouldn't use those cheap adapters. You'd be better off buying an adaptor bought from officeworks or so that is certified for use here, example: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Jackson-Inbound-Surge-Protected-M…

I have the 5 port tronsmart charger I'm using with an AU 8 pin plug, and it's working great.

        • Or replace the figure 8 cable with an Aussie one.

        • @gtarone:

I would have done but somehow I ended up with a three port that doesn't have the small fly lead and can't be changed. I'm not sure if I clicked the wrong link though, but either way don't buy the one without the lead, it will poke out about 60mm from the socket and is dangerous.

    • Yep they're very good stuff.

  • +1

Tronsmart might be an ok deal. But this is a serious bargain!
    http://m.geekbuying.com/item/This-Item-is-for-Making-Up-Pric…

    List price: US$ 149.00
    Price: US$ 1.00
    You Save: 99.33%

    Rep, Wtf

    • Combine it with the cashback and you've got yourself a real bargain.

    • LOL

  • Note that the 5-port charger comes with micro usb cable.

I ordered 6 cables and one charger.

Now all I need is a quick charge 2.0 power bank. Plenty on Amazon but none ship to Australia.

  • The short shipping time quoted… Should that also apply to the last deal? Just wondering, because I ordered a single car charger which hasn't arrived. I don't want to bug them if the delay is normal. I assumed it was because of the low price. But reading that above now makes me wonder if I was incorrect.

    • Was it free shipping and when was it sent? If you PM me your order number I can get someone to follow up on it.

      • Will look info up when I get home.

Lots of product specs on that site, which is good. But it would also be good to know what the products are for, lol.

e.g. Mini Android PC. Admittedly I'm using my phone, which makes it a pain, but I copied and pasted the brand and model from the first page of that first link into Google - and just got more sites that don't say what it's for either. So I'll wait til I have a PC in front of me. It's just easier/faster to look unorganized on a phone.

I think I've seen one before - think you plug it into a TV, to use it like a computer. But why they don't just say what it's for, instead of people having to go to an external search engine. (I'm sure at least some people just browsing the deals would think, "Never knew you could do that - it's cheap enough - yeah, why not get myself a new toy."

        • Android mini PCs are a niche market. Some of the more popular devices will have a proper description and some of the promotions on the homepage banner will go into further detail.

      • Also waiting for the last order of a single port quick charge car plug charger.

Will get the order number and get back to you.

        If 3 days is normal…….

      • Same here. My order hasn't arrived too:

        Order# 3456395

        • If that's the car charger I posted on the 29th then its been about 13 business days and is within the time frame.

        • I too still waiting on an order placed on 12aug15

          order# 3422021

    • Same here. My order hasn't arrived too

  • Sorry about noob question. Does it charge iPhone 5?

    • Yes, but it won't charge it with Qualcomm's Quick Charge as that's not supported. As it's 54W and has VoltIQ you're still going to get a fast charging speed.

      • Thanks for the reply. I may buy it when I have one of those phones then..

  • OP, how about Quick Charge 2.0 Car Charger deal? BTW when will this deal expired?

    • No car charger deal at this time. Deal goes to 20th of Oct.

  • How does this compare with the blitzwolf one listed not long ago?

    • Read some of the comments here https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/213343

TL;DR Blitzwolf is better built (and was a cheaper deal) but not QC 2.0 compatible.

      • You'll find that the build quality is the same as they both come from same place.

        • I've used my blitzwolf for a few weeks. Most bootleg chargers cause my iPhone to act up while charging (eg. Phantom presses on the screen). The genuine iPhone charger did not do this, nor did the blitzwolf.
I'm also one of those people with sensitive hearing. My blitzwolf doesn't buzz either. I noticed that it gets hot though. Mind you, so did my iPhone.
          Charge times were excellent.
If this charger is the same as blitzwolf, I'd definitely recommend it based on my initial tests.

        • @DeWalt: The one mentioned in the link with a buzzing sound turned out to be a faulty charger. I own both the Blitzwolf and Tronsmart and there is definitely no buzzing. The only real difference is the colours and logo on the charger and one port has QC2.

        • @Clear: Thanks, I have ordered the Tronsmart charger and 3 pack of cables now to go along side the 6 pack of tronsmart USB cables I received this week and the blitzwolf I received earlier. Will gift away what I don't need after trying everything :)

        • @Hayness: Thanks for the support :)

  • @Clear, can you help making deal with 3×1feet cable and 3×6feet cable? I want to buy this charger and those 2 cable type.
    Thanks in advance…

    • I probably can't this time around, but I'll have it at some point in the future.

  • Always sucks a little to see the price drop when your previous order hasn't arrived, but I'll survive.

Went nuts on the last deal and finally bought everything I wanted. Looking forward to receiving them.

  • +1

Any chance we can get this as well?
    http://www.geekbuying.com/item/Tronsmart-TS-CC2PC-Quick-Char…

For those who missed the last deal (me).

    • At this rate I'll probably have QC deals every fortnight.

    • yes car charger would also be good :)

    • +1 for the QC car charger

  • Thanks for the deal.

Came up as AU31.41 when paying with paypal and free delivery of something like 12-14days. For US$0.24 I went for TNT which is 3-5 business days.

  • I have the 5 port charger from the last deal. Lately, it hasn't been able to charge my g flex 2 via QC2.0 despite it had been able to in the first week or so. Tried swapping the supplied cable and LG's original cable does not help. Any idea, @Clear?

    • Is the port able to charge anything else? Even if it's not QC.

      • The port still charges things at what appears to be 5V/2A, just not in QC2.0 rate

  • +1

Holy crap. TNT 3-5 day shipping is only $0.24USD. Bargain!

    • I got $1.16USD for TNT.. did you purchase both or just the charger?

      • I got the same, im syd aswell.. seems odd.

        • lol yeah looks like sydney-ites are getting shafted :P

      • Wow that's cheap explosives. Does it come with free shipping?

        • +1

You are now on a government watch list

        • @thescarecrow84: Sweet!
Free membership for life or just the first year?
          What are annual fees?

    • TNT shipping was $0 buying both the charger and the cables, shipped to Melbourne.

      • strange.. I am in sydney metro..

    • $1.16 USD to Syd for me. Bought both

      • $0 USD shipping using TNT to Sydney Metro for me. Bought both, plus 3x6ft Tronsmart cable.

  • Just out of curiousity, will this code be active till 20th of October, or would I risk the coupon running out or something?

    • If the coupon hasn't expired by then I expect they'd be out of stock

      • +3

There is more than enough stock available. At least 1000 units or more in stock.

        • Good work :)

    • Coupon expires on the 20th and there is no limit on the coupon.

      • Nice, so all I need to do is convince my gf that I need one :)
Good to know that I don't have to rush things.

        • +1

Just buy it and tell her you won it when it arrives.

        • @Clear: She unfortunately knows my Ozbargain nickname and stuff :( She'd be suspicious and would look through the comments I've made and I would feel bad anyways doing that.

I might tell her that I will give the old one to her sister's family :P Out of curiousity, do you know whether 5V 2A chargers charges iPad at reasonable speed, or do they charge at speed that you'd expect with 5V 1A chargers?

        • @Oversimplified: I'm fairly certain that a 5V 2A charger is the exact same output as a normal iPad charger.

        • @Clear: I thought it was something slightly different, 5.1V 2.1A or 5.1V 2.3A or something like that :S

        • @Clear: Bought one anyways, if they complain about the speed for the old charger I've owned. I am giving the charger to them for free anyways.

  • +1

Sort of random question, but can anyone tell me if you can charge a Sony Dual Shock 3 controller with this thing? Most phone chargers don't seem to work…

  • have ordered two lots of cables and still haven't received them yet.
Clear, if you dont mind checking, its been more than a month:
3436392 ordered 30/08 with cables and charger
3452757 ordered 20/09 ..probably a bit early to be asking about this one.

    • Were you sent tracking numbers for either of them. The second one is definitely too early as it can take up to 30 business days, but 3 weeks is the average time in my experience.

  • are these supplied with a AU travel adapter or a proper AU plug/cable?
Edit:looks like a proper cable from the pic…. cheers!

  • Came up as $38.78 AUD for both including TNT shipping

  • This could be a stupid question, Can you pls confirm if this is good for Apple products? I didn't see iphone or ipads in the list of supported devices

    • +1

I can confirm the other 4 non QC2.0 ports auto senses the iPhone/iPad and can charge up to the max 2400mA iPad charger speed no issues.

But if you use the quick charge port it just charges normally so best to use a compatible QC2.0 device with that.

  • OK I had some drama with registraion/login, so I had to reenter items a few times.
Now I'm unsure if I selected the AU power cord - rep How can I check/confirm this comes wiht an au power cord ?
    order #3472905

    • If you ordered this exact one it will say in the title that it has an AU cable.

      • I had drama with the registration login also, kept hanging and not refreshing.
Ended up ordering the charger with the EU plug by accident :(.

Rep, any chance you can change it to an AU cable for me.
        My order number is #3472138.
I did send an enquiry email requesting this but not sure if it will be actioned in time.

        • +1

I'll message one of the staff members and get it changed for you.

        • @Clear:
Thanks! That's great Ozbargain service. Really appreciated!
