    ILLEGAL TO RIDE IN AUSTRALIA

          To be fair, they are not illegal in Australia. It is only illegal to ride them on public property, but you can ride them on your private property and off-road areas.

          They can only be ridden "off road or on private grounds" (Transport for NSW spokeswoman), "These vehicles should only be used on private property" (VicRoads spokesperson), "They can only be ridden on off-road areas and private property" (WA Department of Transport).

        Unless you live in Queensland, these are 100% illegal to ride on public footpaths.

        Police have been known to confiscate these in Sydney and Melbourne, and if you get lippy with them you'll get slapped with a $1000 (unregistered + uninsured motor vehicle) fine.

    Price is $489 with Coupon.
    The ones on ebay are cheaper quality batteries and less powerful motor.

    A lot of people that have bought off ebay have not received their scooters and are being returned.

    I watched a youtube video of a walkaround with the manufacturer in China of what looks the same as these and he said that they were only intended to be used inside buildings as the wheels were not big enough to deal with pavement etc so the whole illegal thing should probably be followed by "outside of privately owned buildings" as that might be all they are really intended for. Of course sellers might deliberately not make that clear.
