It seems only D610, D750 and D810 have bonus 150 GC.

  • No cashback from nikon.
Would have been a sweet deal

  • this could be a very good replacement for my ancient D90. Does anyone with D5300 find Wi-Fi is a must have feature?

    • You can buy the Wi-Fi dongle for an extra 40 for this camera. I hardly ever use it..

      • I also have the dongle and I probably hardly use it because it is some additional thing to carry and to attach. If it was built in, I would use it more regularly. Take a shot, tweak, transfer to phone, post on social media.

        • It's not abt the size for me.. It's tiny and attaches to the camera strap.. But I didn't buy a $3k setup for instant sharing of pics.. That's where my a6000 comes in which is what I use when out with family/friends and they can't wait for their pics.

        • @Dealayed: I don't have a camera strap and I also have a few bags depending on the situation and how much stuff I need to carry. So often, the dongle may not even be in the bag.
If you didn't have the a6000 and your DSLR has built in wifi, you would use it more often?

        • @amts: if that was the only camera that I took everywhere, then maybe yes.

        • Grab an Eye-Fi Mobi SD card. same function as a wifi dongle but lives inside the SD slot. given the 7100 has dual slots, you could leave the Eye-Fi in the second slot and it would never bother you. Best part is, you can use it with any camera that takes SD cards.

    • I have only used the wi-fi when 'playing' with the camera - not in actual use. I suppose it depends on how much you really have to post things urgently to the web - me not at all. You could always buy an eye-fi card or equivalent I guess if the dongle is unattractive to you.

    • just get a wifi SD card

    just a note:
After waiting for sometime, I bought it in store - the deal is really good as instore you get 18-55mm VR lens bundled along with the camera for the same price. And also the JB HiFi gift card.
Once again thanks to all OzBargainers. Just amazing.

    • Gameshark, I had a look earlier but no mention of the VR lens bundled with it. Can you post a copy of your receipt showing the lens? Cheers.
