    I've yet to see an LG that I've been able to get a picture in happy with out of. Are there any decent prices on similarly sized Panasonics?

      I'm the opposite, I see Panasonic tvs about as good as the cheap no name brands and think LG are up with the best in picture quality.

    For the extra $84 the features of the higher specced 100 Hz 49“ LG look worthwhile. I can't comment on the quality of LG tvs.

  LG TV's are generally good value/quality. Speaking for the 65uf770t (65" UHD, 200hz smart, non 3d) I'm very happy overall. WebOS is also quite good too. Note* only 3 hdmi ports on this model. $2000 for the 60" model seems very good value!!

  The terms and conditions where Trent based his post on didn't mention LG/Panasonic TV being excluded originally. See revision. I suspect being DickSmith, they have changed the terms & exclusion list since this morning. Thus this deal is no longer available.
