You can buy 4 for $12 in Costco

    • +$60 membership. Some of us don't have any other reasons to shop at Costco, though I get why people shop there.

      • you know that you are not adding $60 to each buy, right?

I wonder if it's the same globe as the everyday price in Masters? :

Although in saying that, I prefer to pay a bit more and get the Philips brand myself.

    • Huh, they're back. I saw them online a while ago, never could find them in store, (WA), then they disappeared from the online store too for a while.

  • best website to buy good reputable, inexpensive LED lights in Aus? I find globes at Bunning's and Masters so expensive

    • then go to Coles and buy them cheap!

must comment in that I bought a pack of these last time they were 50% discount and was so impressed I went back and bought enough to replace every incandescent and compact fluoro globe in the house (about 6 packs, from memory). I found the 10W globes brighter than the (admittedly, very old) 10W CFL globes in the main living areas and a more pleasing light as well (warm white for living areas, cool white for bathroom/toilet/laundry and outside).

a quick google shows these globes are surprisingly good:

  • Are they dimmable?

    • according to gizmomelbs link no

'Manufacturer cautions 'Not to be used with dimmer switches'.

If you wan't dimmable I usually buy online. The ones Aldi sells from time to time are usually dimmable, though colour reproduction is off at times.
