Received an email from Toys R Us with a voucher for 20% off full priced items storewide.

Print out flyer for instore purchase or use code "FAMILY" for online purchase. Online purchase available now (started 6pm 18/11), instore starts tomorrow (19/11).

Excludes purchases on nappies, wipes, baby food and formula, Vuly Trampolines and Accessories, All Pre-orders, Pre-Paid Cards, Gift Cards, or non-merchandise goods and services

Annoyed about the Vuly trampolines myself - been looking to find a decent deal on one of these things for ages! If anyone knows where to find one for a half decent price please let me know.

    very sneaky how a lot of items have been reduced in price by 10% for a sale so you cant get the higher 20% off.
    very sneaky. almost dick smith levels.

      My local Toys RUS had 10% off all Lego just for the duration of the promotion. Was really annoyed as I had driven all the way there for that. The shop lady openly said it was done to exclude it from the 20% offer. They should have put that in the terms and conditions as an exclusion, they got me there under false advertising

        they must have discovered it. I got WWE toys on clearance with the 20% off + postage. Discount basically meant I only had to pay $4 post.

          Definitely working on clearance items for me. Anything noted as "clearance" is applying the full discount, as opposed to anything marked as "sale" which won't discount at all.

          Easiest way to find eligible items is to click on the "Savings Centre" option at the bottom of the page and then select the "clearance" options - a further 20% off the lot.

          Just beware - their website is one of the worst ecommerce sites you'll find. Every second or third search returns no valid hits even for items with an exact match, you'll need to set aside 3 minutes if you wish to increase anything in your cart from 1 to 2, it has a nasty habit of dumping your cart mid-session, and at some point in my $300+ order it decided that every item in my cart needed to be shipped from outside my local area, hence adding $40 to my would be shipping bill. I gave up in the end and only ordered a fraction of what I intended to…

    postage costs are ridiculous! i added a swing set and a foam floor playmat to my cart - $28 postage total - cool. I added the board game "hungry hungry hippos" to my cart, that blew the postage up to $133!!! i am assuming this is a special edition game using real hippos!!
