  • Rep: any GU5.3 deals?
The previous OSRAM deal was very good, bright and dimmable, cheaper than 1/2 price in Masters/Bunnings

  • +4

Not a deal, at least for the 6500k version. Bunnings sell the same lamp for $10.95 each:

We didn't notice this pricing from Bunnings before and have gone back to our supplier seeing if we can get similar pricing.

@pmupsinep: We checked the 2700K version (which was considered the more popular version) and did not see any matching information from any other suppliers out there, we just assumed it would be the same for the 6500K.

    • As indicated in the description, thanks to this Feedback we can offer this lamp for $11.83, still a little bit more expensive than Bunnings, but you get free shipping and can order online for us.

      • Will you pay for return shipping back to you of any globes that are faulty/go faulty? And shipping of the replacement globes?

        • +1

If bulbs go faulty, all we require is a photo of the bulb not working and we will send out the replacement ones no issue.

          No charges on shipping.

  • Not sure if this is a good deal. I can't say anything about the quality but costco is selling 3-pack led E27 globes for around the price of one of yours.

    • There are obviously cheaper LEDs around but you need to factor the brand and the performance (lumens output) of the LEDs.

      • Agreed. The ones in costco are 3000k 806 lumens 9.2 W. Not familiar with Led. How would you rate these specs?

Understand that there werent recognised brand but the packaging mention that they will replace or refund if fail within 3 years from date of purchase.

        • For a 9.2W lamp those specs seem comparable to similar lamps.

Our 9W 2700K OSRAM produces 806 lumens as well so the figures seem good for the Costco lamp. https://store.voltimum.com.au/products/lighting/lamps-and-tu…

Given that you have 3 year warranty, it might be worth a try and see what they are like.

Personally I would only recommend the brand names Philips, OSRAM, Megaman, Crompton as I have seen too much crap out there that claim this performance but fail a lot of times.

  • Do you stock E27 LED's in the size of pilot globes?

-or- any without a "globe top" or ones I can rip the globe top off? (There's frosted glass in front of the bulb)

Our bathroom has some tricky mirror/makeup lights with a very small space available.
Needs to be 2700K, wattage not important (lower is better actually).
I've seen some in Coles looking like they're getting smaller.

    • Unfortunately we don't have anything that matches your need.

  • I think this is the old model. i.e. A 60.

There are now omni-directional ones now if I can recall. I can't tell what the model numbers are supposed to be but I believe it has a more rounder shape.

Last I heard my local store was trying to clear the older A 60 to make room for the new rounder ones.

I'll get back with more info, but I was under the impression that these should be on clearance…

  • Not the same model, but interesting breakdown

  • Uhm, so I pick up the Osram 7.5w 600lm Warm White E27, turn it on, yep, looks good. I try the Daylight B22d, err, looks crap. After a couple of hours, I walk into the room and notice that the warm white bulb is flickering (as I left it on), so I turn it off, flickers once and that's it. Now it won't turn on except for a brief second here and there. The daylight one I've had on for an hour and it's still on, for now. The warm white is in my desk lamp and the daylight is in my ceiling socket.

sigh back to Bunnings I go.

  • We have reduced pricing by a further 10% across all of our new OSRAM lamps.

This product now with the coupon code is cheaper than Bunnings at $10.75 per lamp with free shipping.
