I recently used the previous 15% off on this site for booking a hotel in Singapore (thanks to the jetstar sale for this trip). Nice options, competitive rates all in all and that 15% really gave some advantage over others like booking, expedia, hotels etc. etc.

However, as this is not an oz site, I was charged the rate conversion fee or the exchange rate used by my bank wasnt wat I was expecting. point is, thats the only consideration I would suggest to take into account when using this site. Still price was better than I was finding elsewhere on same hotels.

My booking period is still in future, so cant comment if everything with the booking went well or otherwise..

    Cheers!

    • You could always use a card with no currency conversion fee such as the citibank debit card

Yea, didnt have any.. I reckon I should get one. Will be handy for the trip if nothing else.

        Thanks!!

No conversion fee and also citibank does not charge on international withdrawals overseas, so you save about $5 per withdrawal and 3% for transactions

        • @strikerzebra: which one should I go for? There is an online saver, a ultimate saver and an everyday account… Thanks for the help..

You want the Citibank plus every day account , it comes with the visa debit card
