Good prices; up to $219.90 cheaper than Apple for the latest iPad Air 2 (all wifi + cellular). Seems to be all colours. Includes a $30 Globalgig Nano sim as well.

        Same thing happened to me. After a couple of calls to an overseas call centre with with 45 mins on hold each time, I ended up just picking it up from a store that had stock.

    Managed to get OW to price match the 128GB WiFi+Cell for $854.14. Didn't include sim card though. I had a $250 gift card to use so worked out perfect.

          You can chat with online Staff at Harvey Norman, and send them a link of that deal on DS store. They will price match for you with cheaper shipping fee ($5.95)

    I called officeworks online and they would not price match or beat because this was "apparently" a special bundle and they would only price beat on similar products. So they would beat the solo ipad air price of $1006. Could someone post a receipt of price beat with OW? Much appreciated…

    ERRRMMM, wot? If you exclude the Sim, this one-day deal is about $7 more expensive for 2 out of 3 models…

    • iPad Air 2 128GB wifi + cellular $899.10 + postage
    - other deal is $1006.20 less 10% = $905.58

    • iPad Air 2 64GB wifi + cellular $807.30 + postage
    - other deal is $889.20 less 10% = $800.28

    • iPad Air 2 16GB wifi + cellular $700.20 + postage
    - other deal is $772.20 less 10% = $694.98

    Not sure what value the sim has for most people, since $30 is just account credit and the best you can get with it is 5GB for one month. Or 1GB per month for 3 months.

      The $1,006.20/$899.20 and $772.20 is the already discounted 10% price, it's not another 10% off those prices.

          And it's awesome! Can't believe I picked up a 128GB WiFi+Cell for $854 haha. I was originally thinking about buying an iPad Pro but I just couldn't pass this up!

          Thanks! Yeah, as I said above I had a gift card to use so I went into my local OW (even though the OW website said I couldn't buy it at that store!). He was a bit iffy about it at first because it was "online only" and then he saw the iPad on it's own for $1,006.20 and said the other deal must have been a special with Global.

          At the end he rang his manager and just said I won't get the sim card with it (going with Telstra anyway!).

          Edit: He also forgot to add the $11.95 postage!

          I had to do a lot of explaining to a mod to get this deal posted separatley and llama has been continuously banging on that the deal should not be posted as it's not a great deal as the current Dick Smith online prices for iPads are the normal price and same price in store that you get another 10% off as per the flyer. A shame llama could not read the flyer in the terms and conditions where it says the 10% off iPad is in store and online. Some people may have missed out when my post was merged. close to 20% of latest model wifi + cell iPad air 2 is a great deal.

          I'm glad you managed to get this deal posted separately! Haha nah they wouldn't drop the price of iPad's online and then advertise a further 10% off. I never see them on special at all so I was shocked when I even saw the 10%.

          With my OW price match I got 25% off which is just insane.

        Well, that is NOT what the other thread says. What makes you think that, when there is no indication to justify it?

        That other thread states a 10% discount for INSTORE purchase. The OP of that other thread posted a copy of the flyer, as well as proved a link to the prices, not me.

        Here on Ozbargain, we all rely on accurate information to be provided by each OP. It's not every reader's place to cross check and verify every price - we must assume that the information that's posted is accurate, however if not then it needs to be pointed out.

        Like everyone else, I have no knowledge of DS's pricing policies, etc. So, I must assume that the other OP is posting accurately, especially since nobody has negged the deal nor posted that what they've written is in error. Therefore I am simply pointing out that your maths is wrong, and the statements you're making are therefore wrong.

        If you think that the other deal is in error, you need to bring that up in the thread or report it to a Mod.

          Well now you are shouting at me, but what you read is wrong as the 10% is online as well. Read what the flyer says in the terms and conditions, the symbol next to 10% off iPad is displayed down in terms and conditions and says "only available in selected stores or online.

          So there is your accurate information that if you were so concerned you should have picked up.

          Thanks DrC, I also received the notice for the "GlobalGig $30 PROMO" shipped on Thursday morning as well, but unfortunately not for the iPad. Does your shipment includes the iPad as well?

    Awesome news for me! My order has being picked and dispatched… invoice attached in the email… after all the email exchanges / Facebook chat with the customer support (never made a phone call to them but they did called me for updates for my order).

    I told them I did made a compliant to the ACCC for the delays, hopefully I will be able to see my iPad soon before Christmas

      Geez I feel bad, I posted the deal and have been through the same situation. Rang the customer service and they were hopeless and only got some action after messaging through Facebook. The whole delay was due to being out of stock of the bonus sim, even though I said they could send to me without sim and they had they iPads in store stock and available for delivery. Mine is due to be delivered on Monday, hope you all receive soon.

        Not your fault mate, but I am more surprised they are out of stock for the "bonus sim", which most of us got the sim card first then awaiting for the iPad… I got told by the customer support whom called me earlier the delay was due to the out of stock of the iPad… strange though.

        My sim card arrived on last Wednesday and iPad was dispatched on Saturday.. Hopefully I will be able to see the iPad sometime next week.

        But to be honest the sim card aren't that great bonus, you can get those for $6 now anyway on their website, but it is only available for delivery… which I am not willing to give it another try again anytime soon.

          Exactly the sim card is no bonus and I never wanted it at all, I just wanted the 20% off Ipad. For some reason the sim and Ipad bundle priced at 20% off when they had 10% of Ipad's.

          From my checks and confirmation over the phone, the Ipad's were in stock and available for delivery however Dick Smith did not want to ship separately even though I told them they could keep the sim and just send the Ipad. That seems a bit different for you though. Whenever I called them though, they alway tried to get me to cancel.

    After 3 phone calls, waited ~1+ hour each call, no resolutions. I filed a dispute via Paypal to get my money back. No wonder their business not doing well. Employing monkeys in the company.

      1 hour hold each, that is insane! I would recommend you to email them on Facebook and "Amanda" will usually message you back asking for your contact details and they will contact you. But in this case nevertheless you are still going to get your money back.
