a core i7 would cost double. its good for $$ and its purpose.. looks to be a copy of the apple macbook air.
280g heavier than Macbook 12. Still slightly heavier than Air 11"s (which aren't Core M).

Fair enuf. Its half the price of a MacBook air and 1/3 price of the 12".. surely 280 grams isn't realy a factor
@Gavman: MacBook Airs have been as low as ~$800 after discount stacking. It really is when you have ~7kg of carryon allowance.
It is a significantly larger screen (by area), so you would expect it to be heavier.
never seen 13" inch model for $800 brand new. And if it happened on one occasion someone was able to stack that many discount and got lucky.. the rest of us never had that opportunity.

Lowest price was $500 for the 11" and $750 for the 13" via ebay discount plus Kogan grey market. I guess knock a further 2% off for Cash rewards too!
EDIT: source, I bought a 13" for $850 from Dick Smith then a week later another for $750 from Kogan/ebay. They sold hundreds in that deal.

This is discounted as the Skylake model has been announced. New one is the UX305C. Still a good deal, but the newer one is around 20% faster.

Its my first purchase from ShopingExpress and im very impressed.
They are not bad, bought a few times from them, no issue but usually it is about 3 working days for delivery, not next day. Would not post a deal if I think the seller is dodgy.

So I bought one at 20% off $844, I used cashrewards, but it didn't work, I've done quite a few purchases with cashrewards and ebay so I know the protocol, this is biggest purchase I've made through cashrewards, and the first one that didn't work… just my luck, and the cashrewards guys don't help, if it didn't work then too bad :( cashrewards really need to come up with a more reliable system…

@stargalaxy: I got the cashback! Took a couple days for them to process for some reason, maybe expensive items take longer or they were busy, at any rate it brought the total for the zenbook to $649! I'm happy.

I was going to buy yesterday, was listed for $844, so after 20% off and cashrewards was ~$650, but towards the end of the day they changed the price to $899, so I'm not going to buy just on principle that they upped the price for more profit due to popularity of the item.
I've been watching this listing for 3 days now. It's $844 in the morning, goes up to $899 at around midday and is back down at $844 the next morning. Not sure what the reasoning behind this is. Buy it now if you see this on time :)
