Assassin's Creed Rogue was only released last year (same time as unity), so it's not too bad.

But yeah, the rest can be bought cheaper.

If you can find it, EB has Far Cry 1, 2, 3 and blood dragon for $18 (all in one packaged called "The Wild Expedition" set).

Plays three exciting games, including Defender of the Faith, where you save the green dots with your fantastic flying red square! Monkey's Paradise, where you swing from green dot to green dot with your red square monkey! And Penetrator, where you smash the green dots deep inside the mysterious red square!

Meh, there's little reason to pay that much for X360 now days, especially the 4GB model.

The only reason why PS3s still can be sold at prices similar to this is because it is still one of the best fully featured BD players around.

  • I bought mine a few years ago for like $180 or $188 from HN… I'm talking years, before XB1!

      • I got a 250GB for $96.. new from DSE ;)

    • I bought my 4 gig in 2010 from Harvey Norman for $140, still goes beautifully.

Probably very hard to find stocks even if you want to buy. They most likely buy this very cheap from some forgotten warehouse.

kinda a deal, but also kinda not, as you can get the 500gb with 2 games new at EB for $269

  • Highway robbery! Microsoft, bring back the cashback so people can buy these last-gen consoles for <$100

    • yeah… 2013 boxing day 73 from target.

  • hmm, had my car rego not come on i would have gotten one, already got a 320gb x360 slim, but i like the look of the E model

  • This is $99 at Target or $148 + 2 games at bigw, if you can find stock

  • My friend just got a clearance xb1 with kinect for $219 from kmart today. Too expensive.

  • Im having no luck trying to sell my 250gb 360 on gumtree. Anyone know how much you get for trading them in at eb games

    • +1

i think yiou can put it towards a xbone, depending on the hdd size. Might be best to ring up and ask them

    • There are many on ebay and gumtree. Try to sell lower as more will be on the market after Christmas, I think.

  • EBGAMES has a massive sale on preowned games.
A heap of preowned 360, ps3 and wii games for under $8.

this is not cheap for a 4gb arcade xbox 360. no deal.
old grandmothers shopping at aldi will think this is a good xmas present.
only good thing is aldis return policy if u dont like it after a few months

  • 4gb on a 360 these days is useless especially when there are games that require mandatory hard drive installations of game data to play. Titles include GTA V, Battlefield 4, Dragon Age Inquisition, Need for Speed Rivals, Wolfenstein: The New Order, Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes and Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain.

HDD is also required for downloading demos, games, downloadable content (DLC) and Xbox Live Arcade Games(XBLA).

With the latest system update you can add up to 2 x 2tb external USB drives to the 360 to expand the starage capabilities of the console.

Also old game titles at $20 is still expensive as well.

    • "With the latest system update you can add up to 2 x 2tb external USB drives to the 360 to expand the starage capabilities of the console"

Could you explain on this ? That means I can buy an external sea gate hard drive from JB and use it as a 1TB xbox ? I read some where that says the max USB storage is only 16GB.

      • I read some where that says the max USB storage is only 16GB.

That was the old update (it was 32, not 16). The Xbox is now updated to 2TB. Remember though that 1TB hard drives go for ~$70 - cheapest commonly found size around store.

  • Since it is only 4GB, does it means I have to delete old games from time to time to be able to play new games ?

    • +1

you wont be able to install any games on it. most games are 7gb or so.

you can however plug in a large usb drive and use that for game storage

    • To add to that, the 4gb is mainly used for save data and other system settings.

    • I have the 4gig and it plays most games, the only ones it will not play have been some releases from the past year or so. It also won't allow you to play some add-on/expansion content eg. Borderlands 1 and 2 played fine, but you can't play the added missions etc that come on the Game of the Year editions because they will only work if the game is installed on your hard-drive.

Have a look at the back of the game covers, some of the newer games will say things like "needs x amount of storage to install" or something similar, in the really small print near where it says whether the game is for 1 or 2 players etc.

I think as rule just be careful buying games that have been released on XBone as well as the 360, as they are ones that tend to want extra hard drive space.

The good thing is the 4gig will play 95%+ of the 360 back catalogue and you can get most of those games for $5-$10 on gumtree or second-hand/pawn shops.

  • Now if Aldi could just sell a WiiU for that price I'd be tempted.

  • I got a 360 with a kinect for 100 bucks last year from Kmart qld. I'am surprised they are still selling for this price.

    • Does it come with any games and controller ?

  • you'd be better off trying to find and buy a RGH/Jtag'd x360. It'd be cheaper and better value for money.
Old gen shouldn't be more than $100 new.
