      MicroSD vs SDXC

      • +2

Great for fellow OzBargainer who's after a SDXC and not microSD. :)

        thanks for posting…

so are we going to see another price war of microSD cards again? I've got too many microSDs for my Raspberry Pi already!

      • +4

These days I tend to get microSD and use adapters if I want to put them in a regular SD card slot. More flexible overall - not sure if there's any performance difference.

  • Which one is better? TA or MSY??

    • +1

They are different, one is MicroSD one is SDXC

      • +2

TA's deal did have a MicroSD with an adapter for 29 though.

    Shipping is ridiculous… $14 or so….

    • +1

That's why we all pickup from our local.

    • All PC stores here just use couriers, hence the crazy shipping costs. Plus covering their time to package it up and label for the courier.

This was $19 a few months ago at MSY ?

The AUD was on par with USD a few years ago as well.

      • The AUD was on par with USD a few years ago as well.

Actually, it was higher than the US$ a FEW years ago!

The AUD was on par with USD a few years ago as well.

But not a few months ago.

        What's your point?

          What's your point?

Let me channel the power of Captain Obvious! The point is that, what's in the past may not be applicable in the present state. In this case, the point which "jdas" made on the lower price point of $19 a few months back may not be relevant now. Hope you have found your way back from being lostn in the world of sarcasm :)

        • [@moo]so by your reasoning, a better price yesterday would also be irrelevant because there's no chance of that same price coming back tomorrow?

Usually when I haven't seen a deal on OZB for an SD card I just hit refresh on my browser and there one is.

  • Good price but my cameras need Samsung EVO PRO or Sandisk Extreme PRO for quicker bursts.

  • Thanks, needed one for my new camera :D

  • I picked up this card when it was on sale for $19 —- feels pretty solid in the hand, good performance for the price.
