      Call me ignorant - but what are you talking about?

      Warranty is Kodak AU warranty. We support it as per their guidelines….

        well by australian law the retailer is responsible as your FIRST point of call the contract of sale is with the retailer not the manuifacturer if this is faulty are you going to accept returns
        If you are I will gladly retract my -ve

          Aussman,

          The process as defined by Kodak is that we accept returns for ANY DOA items within 30 days.

          This is for NEW items sold in any other format other than by Auction (as in this case)

          Auctions are another issue - and yes we sell lots on Ebay - but mostly refurbs via the auction process. In most cases we still take customer returns on Refurbed stock despite being sold via Auction. Its called Customer service :)

          After 30 days Customers are required to contact the Kodak Customer Service Centre and we replace as warranted or advised by Kodak.

          Obviously you have had an issue with a dodgy Ebay seller or a Drop Shipper. If the issue you have is with one of our User Id's on Ebay - or with us directly - I would like to hear from you in the hope I can resolve it.

    i have kodak (10MPX, few generation below this - but not too old)
    my review:
    *bad for nightshoot (i know this is compact but canon ixus series are much better taking nightshoots)
    *battery life = POOR compare with canon
    *there is NO battery indicator (on mine, not sure about this, better ask first). it will tell only when the battery is about to run out ..
