          I have a fitbit HR and a strap as well. If you want accurate heart rate when running or swimming etc, definitely get the strap, the wrist HR are good for overall check ups (throughout the day etc), but it can fail miserably at times. For me personally it's not really the issue of the heart rate spiking as such on the wrist HR, it's more that sometimes it can't read at all (as in it shows —). If it does occur, it'll occur on a cold day only, so I wear gloves to combat it, but it can be annoying when you want to check and it shows up —. Also I've noticed that if u sweat heaps, it sometimes can't read the heart rate either (I'm assuming due to the amount of sweat). I always clean my fitbit like it says in the manual, but still does occur.

    I have a similar model and the great thing is you dont have to charge the watch every few days. Just replace the battery every year.

      The h7 is a heart rate strap that can connect to your phone if its compatible. That strap wont work with this watch but if you did buy it, it comes with a compatible strap. Your h7 is probably fine if you are ok with running/biking/whatever you plan to do with a compatible phone.

          Definitely. This is an absolutely amazing price for the RC3. I have one and its great. At its normal price I would typically say its probably overkill for the average person but at this price I would say go for it.

      two very different devices, I have both.
      One is a novelty device and aimed at fun fitness and health measuring but not on a super accurate scale.
      The other is a dedicated running cycle device with much more serious usage.
      I wear the fitbit hr day and night and it's fun, but if I could only have one it would be the polar as it is a dedicated sports device.
      As for quality watch I think you may have it the wrong way around!!

      I bought the watch this morning using c&c.
      Didn't receive a confirmation, just turned up hoping it would be ready - was told no chance of collection until at least Monday - they haven't had time to process yesterday's purchases, let alone today.
