SGIO, SGIC & Possibly NRMA $20 or $100 off Auto Insurance

40

Been looking for three days for car insurance for two vehicles, as old motorhomes are not easy to insure.

SGIO in WA have $100 off comprehensive insurance, which brings my 1988 Coaster Bus to $166.68 for 12 months, which is amazing I think, as I can't actually get it at many places.

Current Online Discounts include:
Buy one of the following vehicle insurance policies online to get a discount.
Comprehensive – receive $100 off
Comprehensive Plus – receive $100 off
Third Party Property Damage – receive $20 off
Third Party Fire and Theft – receive $20 off

Available for West Australia, SGIO Insurance
South Australia, SGIC Insurance
Possily avilable in other States (except Vic & NT) NRMA Insurance
EDIT: NRMA Discount amount is unknown.

The cheapest car 3rd party property Insurance usually seems to be Vero resellers.
The lowest at the moment for my 4cyl car is $88.58 annual premium. Through newcastlepermanent.com.au, VERO.

Note SGIO website will direct you to your state's url.

  • Those with less than Stella driving record cannot expect a cent of discount and you have only got yourself to blame for that.

    • I think after about three to five years, that gets less important for car insurance. So just have to stop bad habits on the roads for a while. Not easy if you like cars.

  • I only received $50 discount with NRMA for a comprehensive insurance. Is the promo sort of targeted to new customers only perhaps?

    • SGIO and SGIC both state the $100 discount as above. NRMA just state there is a limited time offer.
So as they are just partner companies, I guess they have a different deal. $50 is good.

  • this is weird - went to nrma and got a cheaper quote than this online deal… same conditions ??? $600 vs $700 online, not sure if the $700 would than be $700-$50=$650 since the website indicated $50 discount but I didnt proceed…
