MS Office 2007 $99.95 @ Ringwood Officeworks

90

Officeworks Ringwood are selling MS Office 2007 Home & Student version for $99.95. The Officeworks website states $127 so I'm not sure if this is just a one store only sale or if it's across all Officeworks stores. Other places are selling it for ~$150 and apparently the RRP is $219 (according to AusPost http://catalogue.auspost.com.au/portal/dynamiccatalogue?Cata…)so this deal seems quite cheap.

          yep, that's valid until October…

    • Ahh, that's probably why it's cheap then. Still if you need it now it's a good price. Besides, I find it's often good to lag behind a bit with MS Office; if your working on an older version, you can always change to a newer version if you have to use another computer to print but if you're having to go from new to old, things are more likely to stuff up.

  • $99 is a fairly standard price and has been for at least a year in quite a few computer shops for Office 2007 Home & Student…

    • Oh,when I was in DSE, the guy serving me said that their cost price for it is $125 and the $125 - $150 range is what I've seen in most department type stores. Is the ones you've seen in computer shops an OEM version or a retail version?

      • I would rather the Retail CD version over an OEM version any day.
With the Cd version, you can install on 3 machines.
Not sure with OEM as all you get is the license key.

Itsnotcheating is the best price around (and for Win 7 upgrade). You can get that as well if you work in TAFE or Uni.
