These are a great saw, I grabbed one a couple of years ago and use it in the garden for pruning branches, removing small trees and cutting up branches to fit in the car.
Had to repair an old fence this week, with a metal blade I cut off the old nails and bolts that were left in the posts but could not be removed.
Generally just a very handy small saw, 90% of usage is with the blade out straight and as it takes jigsaw blades cheap to keep good blades in it.

Only negative is that the safety switch was a pain to hold at odd angles, as no one other than myself uses it I just jammed the safety in permanently.

  • Would be great if nationwide, or even statewide.

I might pop into Cheltenham and/or Mentone tomorrow to take a look.

  • Bought one some time ago, works very well !

  • Word of warning, I am pretty sure you need a powerpass trade card AND your account needs to be in a relevant trade to what you are buying to gain the special price. If I am wrong someone please let us know where you have purchase and any hoops you had to jump through. Also, OP can you confirm?

    • Thanks OP. Got one this morning. They are sitting on clearance trolley out front of tool shop. No trade card needed.

Yes you are wrong. The discount shown on the receipt is the discount that would be shown on any receipt but Bunnings system shows any discounts for clearance items as a powerpass discount if a powerpass card is used. Discounts are not also specific to the trade that you registered under.

  • Got one myself from Mentone. There's 2 more left.

Scanned at $50 but they brought it down to $34 after I showed them the receipt in the O.P.

It does appear extremely old stock however. My box has been sun bleached almost monotone, was caked in a layer of dust and was hidden away on the top shelf of old stock.
