  At best - useless
  
  At worst - riddled with Bloatware ryc. And collects and shares your data to nefarious third parties.
  
  Defrag programs for Windows, and de-frag in general has been useless for years.
  
  Since Microsoft overhauled the way Windows manages data in Vista de-fragging has become redundant.
  
  It's a little disturbing that programs like this are still being made. A shampoo are one of the worst for creating plethoras of useless programs like this. I'm yet to find an Ashampoo product that is better than the free alternative, many programs don't really have a free counterpart because they literally have no useful function.

Also worth keeping in mind all your doing is wearing out your SSD if ran on one. No performance boost at all.

Windows( Since Vista as above ) also automaticlaly runs defrag in the background on any hard drives in your system ( Ignores SSD's though )

Yes, it is technology of the past and hardly relevant in current technology life cycle. Especially with SSD's.
