No I didnt click any banners. Went straight into ebay via cash rewards
Not sure what banner you clicked, but just ensure you stay within eBay once you've clicked through Cashrewards.
I did exactly that. Once eBay loaded after Cashrewards, I clicked on the 20% off banner that was presented to me on the home page. Went through as normal checkout, paid with PayPal. Cashrewards never registered my purchase.

I used it yesterday along with the ebay christmas10 promo although can't yet see it on my CR account, i'll give it a few days to ^_^
I have a question though, is it possible to go through CR aswell as through Flybuys portal so you get both CR and Flybuys benefits?
Has Cashrewards fixed the unreliable tracking issues yet?
Define "unreliable tracking issues". There was a post in a previous eBay deal thread which outlined how most of the common tracking issues originate on the user side.
I've never had a deal not tracked correctly. I always make sure to delete the cookies from the site I'm buying from right before loading Cashrewards, and it has always been flawless.
I've also used cash rewards on at least 20 different purchases all tracked, definitely isolated environment issue or user error majority of the time. I don't even delete cookies, just cash rewards then to site.
Nope, not user error. I use the same browser and same settings everytime. As soon as I log in and get directed to the page, I immediately pay. Shopandmint tracks 100% of the time. Cashrewards tracks the cheaper purchases off ebay. Anything that costs a few hundred dollars and more conveniently doesnt get tracked. Have emailed cashrewards, they say they cant do anything about it when it comes to eBay tracking.
I purchased the note 5 I'm using right now from ebay and it was tracked no prob, $899 purchase price.
To mind, that was one of the issues - you're using other cashback sites. You might have a residual cookie from a past session which is "stealing" the tracking when you try to use a different cashback site. That's why you have to clear cookies every time before you make a purchase, just to be sure.
@zzyss: I do clear my cookies every time. FYI I originally used CashRewards first for ages until the expensive items did not track, which is why I switched to other cashback sites which work with no problems and are more reliable. Already lost $100+ cashback with cashrewards from missing tracking with eBay. Cashrewards does nothing if its cashback with eBay. Now stop shilling.
I started using Cashrewards recently, and I've had no issues at all. Even tracked a $2400 TV purchase. You must be doing something wrong

I also said in the old eBay thread that it's definitely not in Cashreward's interests not to pay out your big purchases, 'coz they earn commission based on taking a cut of your cashbacks. No cashback = no profit (and stealing customers' money isn't good business sense either, for the tinfoil hat types). Your argument about avoiding paying cashbacks on large purposes just doesn't add up.
But whatever, man. I was just trying to help. I ain't shilling nothing. If anything, you're the one that brought up shopandmint. You trying to shill for them then?
@zzyss: Nope, just mentioning a working alternative cashback site that actually tracks correctly. It could be cashrewards or could be ebay, doesnt matter who, but at the end of the day they arent 100% reliable in terms of tracking. Im not the only person that has experienced this and im just warning others that its a gamble. If they can fix whatever is going wrong on their end and can guarantee 100% tracking, i will immediately use them again.
God the Cashrewards site is horrible, eGlobal 404 errors, Griffin have a ad saying Fitbit sale then don't actually sell them???

- Search for Fitbit
- Griffen comes up
- Click go to store
- Griffen has some front page ads, click thru them, one is Griffen Fitness
- It states accessories for Fitbit (ah accessories - my mistake)For eGlobal - search for Fitbit
- towards the bottom eGlobal has some ads
- Click on them 404 error:)

yep, there's a chance it won't track(work) though so it's best to not include it in your max bid!
