    I was tempted to upgrade (have 3+ black edition), not worth it. This is a great price for a 3+ black edition.

  I saw this earlier when I was checking out the Hero3 White Edition. It's tempting. It would be a Xmas present to myself. :D This comes with a waterproof housing case?

  Also, is it possible to buy a higher capacity battery for this model?

    Hero4 Silver is about $100 more expensive and is just about identical in every way but it has hilight tagging and an LCD screen which the Hero3+ Black does not have.

    The Hero3+ Black bundle has 2 batteries, the WiFi remote and dual battery charger.

    Hero3+ Black seems to have sharper close range images (2-3m) while the Hero4 Silver has slightly sharper long range distance.

    I think it basically depends if you believe the extra ~$100 and LCD screen out weighs the 2 batteries and WiFi remote.

    I went the Hero3+ Black.

        I'm thinking of buying this bundle and leaving it unopened to see if anything better pops up over christmas. If there is return if it isn't keep. This does contain a fair few extras worth quite a bit of money.

  this is a good deal because of the bundle.. if it was just a typical 3+ black package (without the bundle) then it wouldn't be as good of a deal compared to a 4+ silver

  anyway, lcd bacpac from DSE was only $29 the other week.. i was able to find 2 :)

  Purchased mine at 8:30PM on Sunday and it arrived yesterday afternoon. Looks good glad I purchased. Going to save another $36 on TRS for my upcoming holiday too.
