    • @mushtato - when would larger capacity micro sd back in store? Wants to bundle it with the ip camera. And when does the special for the ip camera ends?
      Thank you.

Are these the V2 with HR monitor, or original V1?

    • Lol AU $25 for the V2 , thats wishful thinking even if you directly buy from Xiaomi in China !
Probably will be more than even 50 AU$ if Mushtato sells it lol

      • +3

The press release had xiaomi selling the heartrate monitor version for the same price as their previous model. So I would expect it to retail for the same amount here too.

        • +1

The RRP on the new Mi Band Pulse is 99 CNY whereas the old one as per Xiaomi official website price is 79 CNY. More about launch here :

          http://en.miui.com/thread-181472-1-1.html

Dont follow those converted press releases.

Its around 16 USD , so very tiny chance that you will get one for $25 AU shipped, rather no chance in next 3 months. Wait 6-9 months and then you can get it in a sale for AU $25 or below but by that time wearable tech would have moved to a newer gen :P

        • @regenade: perhaps they lowered the rrp of the old version on release of this new one? or maybe yeah it was just a US article and it was misleading (I think it was the verge or something).

I'm expecting to pay more than $25 for a heart rate version when it first shows up, but if it's anywhere near $50 it will flop, that's too close to cheap smartwatch price territory or more recognised fitness brand name prices.

mushtato rep, any idea on HR version pricing when it arrives? :)

        • @salem: Not sure yet as the currency exchange rate is unpredictable.
But our marketing team will have the price ready by the time the stock arrives.

        • People need to stop comparing prices from China. Xiaomi is only sold in a few countries locally, so the price is going to be much higher for us.

        • @Clear: Heard GST is increasing to 15%
That will be a bad news for Aussie :\

        • +1

          @Clear:
What? Comparing relative price of two products from the same manufacturer is perfectly valid. If heart rate version is 15% more expensive in China, I'd expect it to only be 15% more expensive than the local non HR version here, too.

        • @mushtato: That's not the worst part. Import taxes on everything in 2017.

        • +1

@salem: Sorry I clicked reply on regenade. I'm not sure why it went to you.

        • @Clear: That is to prevent grey import taxation loss such as Kogan.

      Thank you for your enquiry.
These are the original V1 model :)
V2 is on their way to our local warehouse.
They should arrive after Christmas break.

      • +1

Any idea how much they (V2) would roughly be?

        • Not sure yet as the currency exchange rate is unpredictable.
But our marketing team will have the price ready by the time the stock arrives.

  • Hey rep, any updates on when you will stock the Xiaomi 20000mAh power banks?

      • Thanks! Looking forward to making an order :)

  • The website doesn't say anything about counting your heart rate.
Or does it just count steps and vibrate when yor phone rings?

    • +1

They are the original V1 model.
It does not have the heart rate sensor in-built.
All other functions like step count, vibration, LED indicator and call reminder are available :)

  • +1

Are the LED indicators white or RBG ? What about the warranties. I read in many forums about the devices stop syncing or charging after 2 or 3 months.

    • +4

They are the white LED version.
RBG only come with first and second patch.
Xiaomi changed it to white as too many complaints of not be able to view the LEDs under sun light.

They are covered by 12 months standard local warranty.
If there is any issue with the product, you can contact us by email :)

  • $13.54 just over a week ago.

    • -1

If you are happy to wait over a month ;)

      • +6

For almost double the price. I would be.

  • Is it only available in black?

    • Yes, only black color is available at the moment.
However, you can buy the color band from eBay.
      They are very cheap.
      Only 1-2 dollars each.
Simply remove the dongle and put into your new band.

      • Can you recommend an eBay seller?

        • Pretty sure there will be someone here who has bought one before.
It would be much helpful to hear the feedback from other customers :)

        • I bought the cheapest possible orange one i could find, I think like $1.60. fits perfectly and never fallen out, used it for about 6 weeks so far no dramas. Can't imagine they would vary much as it's essentially just a piece of silicon or whatever :)

        • @Benjamin7711:

Does the material feel similar the the original black one?

        • @sween64:
Fairly.. the "fake" feels a little grippier, for example sticking your hand in your pocket or trying to grab something from between the couch cushions. Barely noticable though, the original is grippy aswell
