      Belkin is a decent name brand. While it obviously won't provide you with a better picture than any other working HDMI cable, it might last longer than your cheapo no-name cables. Worth the extra few dollars to some people.

        How often do people move their HDMI cable? Mine don't sustain much wear and tear; I've never had a video cable stop working.

          I've actually had an ebay one fall apart on me (the connector bent and came loose).

          It happens when you're moving your PC to the loungeroom sometimes, or connecting different things to your projector, etc, stuff like that.

    The only reason to pay more for an HDMI cable is build quality and NOT sound or performance quality. Theoretically, you could just keep replacing poorer build quality cheap ones and it would still work out a while lot cheaper for the same sound/performance.

    Reality is, there are no differences in regard to picture quality between a $2 HDMI cable and a $100 one. Unless this cable is v2.0.

      There is a difference if your senses are more finely attuned.
      I find this cable the perfect complement to the 2012 Sony, which suffered from a less pure copper supply that year due to the Chilean storms.

    compare product to product, not product to some generic rubbish, at $10 its a decent buy for a quality cable, at $60 its a joke, like any product there's always a generic version thats going to be cheaper
