  What's the DPI print quality? The Big W ones were a bit rubbish.

    We have a mechanism which detects low quality images on both our online and offline platforms. If your photo is of low quality, the program will let you know with an error message.

    Generally, it depends on the size of your photo. If it is a full page spread, you'll need higher resolution for that.

    The sweet spot is around 150 dpi and 300 dpi.

      Thanks but thats not what I am asking. What quality is the printed paper? Canon printing services over 2400 dpi. What is yours? BTW, Bigw has that auto detect function too but was still rubbish.

        In that case, we do a maximum of 800 DPI on our prints.

        Canon appears to do HD prints but if this is for a relatively small print, ie Photo books or photo prints, there'll be no need for high DPIs as the final outcome would tend to be similar in quality. This could be different for large banners or canvases though.

        Great thanks. So if I upload a 800dpi or above image it will be printed at 800 dpi? Also do you does the site handle RAW images?

        @goober: It will, but the final outcome will be the same as a 300 dpi one if its a photo book.

        The platform only handles JPG and PNG unfortunately.

  On the pricing page it notes "min 40 pages" for a lot of these books. When you open the editor it starts with 24 pages.
  Do I have to pay for the 16 extra pages to meet the minimum or is this included in the original base price?

    You may have selected the Layflat binding option. Layflat books start with 24 pages and the discount is only applicable to the default 24 pages only.
