  • How does the 3D work on these UHD TVs? Interlaced FPR FHD or active shutter?

Edit: appears to be active. I thought UHD also used polarised to achieve 1080 3D..

LG uses passive polarisation on their UHD to achieve 3D, which works better than their FHD panels since you aren't giving up any vertical resolution.

  • Anyone tried using one this big as a monitor? I'm very keen to get feedback from UHD monitor users.

  • So BL doesn't deliver to other states, but does anyone have experience price matching from other states?

all i want for xmas is 65" below $2k !!!

    • Yes - this is exactly what I want as well! UHD and 3D of course

      • I'm on the same boat guys
some 10 days ago , lg65uf850t was on special for around @2400…but looking for some even better deals for under 2k..

      • I notice you're in Sydney as well. I purchased an 65" Sony UHD 3D during the Dick Smith sales but got home measured my cabinet and it's too big for my unit, I would rather put money towards a 55" OLED (my old Sony z5500 is about to die - need a new TV). I haven't picked it up from David Jones yet (and checked with the staff whether it was ex-display it is brand new). PM me if you're interested. Best of luck finding a bargain :)

    • Yes.. Agreed.. Lol .. Bring on last years sony special when they had the 70" for 2k.. Something similar be nice

      • I'd put my name down for one of them…..

      • that was 70" for 2998 not $2k

        • Lol..my mistake there..long term memory loss from all the ozbargain specials throughout the year. Thanks for the update
