Only people that don't know better would be silly enough to buy a no name memory card.

    • +1

It doesn't even have any brand on it. That's a neg.

  • +7

Saw this advertised as well. Walked away when I saw there was no brand at all. May as well throw your money away, this is the same useless crap posted on Wish and the like.

Neg for being a lousy product, with likely lousy speeds, with the likelihood of a dubious storage amount, and will likely fail after 2 months.

Oh, and likely the same card here for $11.99 delivered lol

Exact same packet for ~$16.55 delivered

    • +5

      Lol

      Fully tracked 3 week shipping

      These aren't even local stock!

      • +1

        Too late for that:
        • For purchases made after 13 Dec 2015, please allow an extra 2 weeks for delivery

      • They forgot to mention this "instead of shipping with Aust Post, we deliver the item to your house directly", that's why they need 3 weeks to get it delivered.

    • +1

agree i brought a 32gb awhile back. used it once.

    • +1

      I did a 360 and walked away.

      • Holy threadmine Batman! :P

  • +2

too cheap, I'd rahter not risk it, even it's not fake but lose data over a no name - no way

  • +1

Good deal but I'll pass thanks. Not risking my gopro footage with a unbranded memory card.

  • +1

They are half or quarter of this price on ebay. Sorry no deal.

  • +2

After checking on the internet, this product has been flagged as counterfeit. The packaging is the same.

Just make sure to store all your irreplaceable family photo's and documents on here, don't let that space go to waste!

    • -1

I suspect you missed the <sarcasm> flags.

About the only thing I might store on this are movies / music that I have a second copy of and even then it is simply too cheap to be trustworthy especially when it is shipped from overseas. I honestly thought GroupOn would want to protect their name a little more than this.

  • Never seen 128 GB card at this price so posting this deal

Can't have looked too hard then

  • +1

    Its 128gb but only 8gb usable ;)
They forgot to mention on packet haha

  • +4

$8.95 postage? must be a 1kg weight heavy duty micro-SD.

  • +1

Please people don't by cheap SD cards. Whenever you buy any sd card do a FULL FORMAT (not quick) to check the entire card is good.

    • +2

Use a hardware check tool. A Full Disk / Verify tool like H2Testw. Tested a 128GB card, turned out that after 8GB the previous data was overwritten.
The Drice did pass a ( Quick ) format, and showed 128GB memory.

    • +2

nope, full format sometimes not good enough, cameldownunder suggestion is the correct one.

  • +1

The fact that its a unknown brand is probably why you've 'never seen 128 GB card at this price'

  • +3

i love how it says in the fine print, "SD card does not work with mobile phone"

  • +1

Sometimes you find "These memory cards are Updated to 128GB ….. "

  • +1

no mention of warranty for this item

  • +1

    I wouldn't risk it

  • +1

the problem is all group buying website does not want to take responsibility of the sellers they are promoting.
if something happen with the product you brought from groupon scoupon etc they will say go to the seller directly.
at least they should vet their customers to make sure they dont sell fake items and have some ways to punish the naughty sellers

    • +1

I bought a micro SD from Groupon. It was a fake. Took them a while but they did eventually refund. Can almost guarantee this is a fake (not a counterfeit since it doesn't pretend to be a branded item).

      • +1

        Yeah its pretty shonky :P

  • Wondering what 128GB meant on the card…

    Oh it's either 1GB, 2GB or 8GB…. Got you!

  • I'd be 99.999% sure that it's a fake - no deal!

  • It is a scam.

Difficult to believe that they have sold 357.

However, as my father used to tell me -

"A3, you will never go broke by underestimating the intelligence of the average Australian".

    Harsh perhaps, but true.
