I have the backpack and I really like it. However I am always told to get the laptop out… it really does not matter then backpack is checkpoint friendly at any checkpoint I have been.

    • Same, really good quality back pack.

    • Have this as well. Great carry on luggage backpack. I've gotten away with using the checkpoint flip a few times instead of the plastic trays. It's a really good sized and quality backpack.

I have the versa one too, but this one I found to be lighter for travelling.

Great now I want to get one lol

  • What's the best way to search for a store for Click & Collect? I'd like to get the backpack but can't seem to find it anywhere in Sydney - having just entered random suburbs.

    • I get about 7 stores showing stock, make sure you are not Using their mobile site

      • Mobile website is for delivery only, it's quite annoying.

      • Any hints? Have been through at least 20 stores using the store locator.

        • Here are the stores in NSW Showing stock
          2270, 2452, 2460, 2430, 2500, 2502, 2422, 2250, 2263

        • @TRENT86:

Cheers Trent. All too far for me. Although where is 2270? Typo?

        • @chaliban: Ring you're local anyway as stock has been in store even though it shows out of stock online

  • Pebble = "Temporarily out of stock"

Are you on your mobile? If yes, you have to switch to desktop view. I can click and collect from Melbourne cbd.

      • Desktop site shows in stock. Thanks for that!

Been looking for a Pebble Time, it was $199 a week or two ago, then it was $249 with their last XMAS voucher. This time its $267!! WTF is going on here? LOL :D I think i should buy one now and wait for it to go over $300 and sell it, or should i wait and keep it. These things go up in value better than gold!

That's Dick for you! Use price hipster to track prices and set email alerts.

    • I managed picked up the Pebble Time Steel from Dick Smith when they had an introductory price of $211. Should have bought one for the Mrs as the price has gone up to $349

    • Dick Smith practice anti-retailing.

Everything you know about how to do retailing well, Dick do the opposite.

Can't believe the black pebble price drop was similar to the price drop last year . What a bargain ( not ) :) . However , it still great price for anyone wanting a good reliable watch

i might look at some reviews from someone after 1 year or 2 years using the pebble. still fun to have?

      • dunno about fun, but it's definitely useful…. mine broke recently, and I'm feeling a bit lost without it…. awaiting replacement.

      • Yep, definitely worth the money, particularly since the new timeline interface has been backported from the Time to the OG.

Only two issues you are likely to face - the strap cracks and breaks after ~6 months (just replace it) and there's a high possibility of 'screen tearing' where you can get distorted display. However, if you get it you just report it and they send you a totally new watch - and you get to keep the old one (which you can repair via online guides).

        • I am sick of this screen tearing issue. Just got myself a Samsung gear s2 classic to replace it.

        • @test123123: What the gear like in comparison?

      • I've had a Pebble for two years and really like it. Recently the vibration motor stopped working and they sent me a brand new one as a replacement, even though it was out of warranty. Great customer support :)

      • Any of you using it with an iPhone? I'm kind of in the market for a smartwatch but don't want to pay the Apple Watch price.

      • My Pebble is still very useful to deliver push notifications to my wrist, and their customer support rivals Amazon. Personally, I'd wait for another good price on the Pebble Time or Time Steel if I was going to get another one, though. HTH

  • If you're willing to wait until tomorrow (and risk a price rise) and wait for another code. You can get another 9.1% buy purchasing a gift card from Woolies.

Bought the Everki backpack. I'd been looking for a decent bag for travelling and this one ticked all the boxes and was $60 cheaper then I was going to fork out. Thanks heaps for finding the deal OP, saved me a lot.

I've picked it up and it's a really high quality backpack for the price if anyone was wondering.

  • Dick Smith are Nuts.. I was in the store this evening (only a few hours ago) and asked the price for the Pebble… I got $149 from the CS rep!

Got a fitbit charge small instead (gift for my daughter.) I'm pretty sure she would have liked the Pebble!! It does far more and is at least more waterproof, as opposed to splash resistant!

No reason I cant take it back, but you'd think this stuff would be known in-store!!

    • That would be because these are online only prices bar the sennheiser headphones, if you click the pebble link the yellow bubble says online only :)

      • Odd… Says in-store only! (As opposed to online only) You would think they know either way!

Same as the Acer Switch and T100 deals… In-Store only..(I grabbed a switch, which still show at $299 online, $199 in store)

        • that's just means you can only get it from in store using click & collect so not available for delivery

        • @TRENT86:

Yeah I get what your saying! There is a yellow balloon advertising that the online deal price (advertised here) ends today. Otherwise it's $92 in store.

Still a different price than what the CS offered me when I asked ($149).

Couple that with Woolworths employee discount card and it comes down a further 7.5%.

Not to fussed, but be nice if when they look the price up, you got told the right price!

        • @sed8ed: Lol no it's not $92 in store the $92 price is online only price, just like the code taking $10 off, that's online only too, so $149 would be the correct price in store as that's normal price

  • I bought this back pack from dicks for normal price of $99 just 2 days ago! anyone know if i can get the difference refunded?

  • does anyone have the code for the everki?

    • deal is over man, you can only get the Everki in store now

      • That's why I'm asking for the sku

        • I thought u mean code as in code that took $10 off

        • @TRENT86:

nah lol i can read the OP

hmm wonder if this is the sku xh2174 from the url

        • @CVonC: No idea, Just ring man and ask them if they have the everki, they should know

        • @TRENT86:

yeah they put the price back to $99 :(

        • @CVonC: Did you ask them to scan it? if not Give it a few days it will prob go down again

    • If you go to dicks, and spend over $50, mention 'mates rates', give them an email, and they will take $10 off
