      My last order from Zavi was 4 discs 3 arrived in 3 weeks the fourth took 6. All were given a shipping notification the next day after ordering (they were all shipped sepeartely).

  Zavvi are cheap but their packaging for delivery is terrible. Ordered the Dark Knight trilogy which arrived today and the cardboard box/sleeve that the movies slip in is badly damaged. It was inside an envelope type satchel lined with a single layer of bubble wrap. Little protection from getting squashed or dinged up during transit.

    You're lucky it was only that. I once had a blu-ray box set arrive with all of the Amaray cases in it smashed up into pieces because the packaging from Zavvi is so poor and just isn't good enough to protect the item. We all know that the courier companies don't like to handle parcels with any care so if there's little parcel protection then your goods are in for a hard time.

    On the other hand i've never had damaged blu-ray goods arrive from Amazon UK. Their packaging protection is way better.

      Zavvi has a reputation for using cheapest packaging. I Purchased from Zavvi only once and my experience was the same. Cheapest and thinnest mailer satchel with no additional protection. Both box sets I purchased arrived with some damage. Lucky it was only minimal damage to the box.

      In my opinion still prefer to spend a bit extra and purchase from Amazon. Never had a damaged package since there packaging is much better.

        Yeah i only buy blu-rays from Zavvi now if i'm only going to be putting the discs in my Ebox 328 disc DVD wallet and so don't care for the Amaray case since it gets thrown out. I've basically run out of storage space for any more Amaray cases, current blu-ray collection is over 600.

  Any way i guess you lot missed it when Amazon UK had the Battlestar Galactica Complete Blu-Ray box set going for $39.73 delivered a little over 2 weeks ago.
