not very good 4G support…… and a 5" phone that isn't FHD ………. and is only android 4.4
might be better with the telstra buzz has great 4G band coverage …. $63 and $5 to unlock on eBay, and come with android 5.

    • my inner cynic thinks you just might be a telstra tro11…?

      buzz is half the phone

& i dislike lenovo (think spyware)

      $140 delivered; 16gb, 13mp, 1280x720 ips, octo core 1.7mhz…

  • +1

Cheap, but reading on Lenovo forums there seems to be issues using this outside of China and the response from staff is that it's a China only device.

As I said before, this is a China only device and there won't be ROW firmware for this device. And the Chinese device may have some issues to support the language. I suggest you guys buy devices from authorized seller.

    • Not sure if you are implying this to all Lenovo phones, but I have bought an A916 for folks and it's working like a charm.

The only issue was that the A916 doesn't have one of Telstra's primary frequency, so signed them up with Vodafone instead… reception is a +1 for this phone.

      • I have no idea about any of their other phones as I haven't looked into them, but the link in my comment is for a Lenovo forum post titled "Lenovo A806 issues" so I'm assuming it's specific to this phone.

Was considering to buy this one, but quickly changed my mind as there seems to be a lot of issues. Reception, GPS, inability to remove some Chinese apps which are factory installed, lack of firmware updates, etc.

        • Yupe. Chinese made phones are crap in that sense. The one I bought off ebay came with clean OS installed.

        • @googleyahoo69: are'nt most phones made in china?

        • @adrianjt:

I meant Chinese owned company manufacturers. Esp the ones for domestic use.

  • Do not buy this piece of s**t. It's awful. It will come with horrible apps and bloatware. Mine is lying on the wardrobe floor for extreme emergencies. Do not buy.
