Seeing 9.5 is free (or was a couple of weeks ago) what makes v10 worth buying.
This is the whole suite and not just PE. 10 is quicker which is a big improvement, they've changed the UI and added a few things. They email you links to download presets each month, links to video tutorials etc. All my jpg work is done in Photo 10. If you're looking for editing software it's worth considering.
Since the demise of aperture and the fact I hate Lightroom I've been looking for an editor for capture one. How does this compare to previous versions? Truth be told I only ever use perfect effects- which 9 offered NO difference

What happened to perfect effects etc? I've had 8, maybe 9 getting hard to keep up with the versions… and the frequent upgrade costs.
Has anyone used/ can compare it?
