MLN is (actually, was) selling 10" ASUS S101 netbooks for $299.

So this deal by contrast isn't all that great. But it's still alright, considering those iPod docks usually retail for $40 according to Static Ice.

B. has a 16Gb SSD

  a) it is over. That's why I said mln "WAS" selling the netbook.
  
  b) It may only have a 16gb SSD drive but SSD's have their advantages over conventional hard drives. Besides, not everyone needs the 160 GB HDD, some people just use a netbook for basic usage and work, not always for media storage purposes.
