Iz3d Full 3D 22" Monitor Including 3D Glasses - 20% Discount Code (Ordered from The US)

Anyone who's tempted by the Nvidia 3D Vision Kit who doesn't have a 120hz Monitor or Nvidia video card, and doesn't want to spend $400 for a new monitor plus fork out for a new nvidia video card $600 plus $200-$300 for the Nvidia 3d Vision Kit. You can buy this monitor from the US, it uses full 3d tech, (not like the zalman 3d monitor) And it's comparatively cheap, especially if you get it shipped through a company like priceusa.

The Reviews for the iZ3d say it's about as good as the NVidia Vision kit, and keeps getting better with every firmware release, it's also got an online forum where the developers contribute and seem to actually be interested in feedback.

  • That site looks soo dodgy

  • co.nz????
    US????
    new zealand???

    • New Zealand.. just like the UK uses .co.uk
Surely you've seen a NZ URL before?

Having said that, the deal looks pretty crap.

  • "You will be purchasing the monitor directly from iz3D LLC in San Diego where your order will be processed directly by iZ3D and will be shipped via UPS"
international shipping by UPS is VERY expensive indeed for something this big/heavy! lots of handling charges/taxes/customs duty etc factored into the S&H figure

  • Some of the dodgiest sales pitches i have ever heard , background music is weird .

Think i prefer to keep mny eyesight for a couple more years at least

  • Iz3d.Co.Nz is parked for FREE with Freeparking.
Web Hosting Accounts from $149 per year

legit sites use free hosting sites!?

  • Man everything about that site spells dodgy… If you want people to take you seriously it's worth investing in a proper website.

  • i've tested the http://www.iz3d.com/ driver software with red/blue glasses and it works pretty well. i guess to those who are interested they should go to the parent site and ask.

  • the youtube videos + whatnot + demos all look stodgy.

    yeah.

and the product is from CES 2008. How old is it now? also 22 inch at CES. just avoid. The nvidia solution from all report works really great.

  • the worst demo i had ever seen so far in my life actually

  • Will the monitor take both 110v and 240v or just 110v only?

  • Yeah, I completely agree, this promotional site looks dodgy as all heck, however, the code works on the official website. Yes, the massive problem is with shipping. But anyone who wanted one of these monitors would have to buy from the US anyway, (unless there is an australian distributor) so 20% off still ain't too bad. Plus, as I mentioned you can use a site like PriceUSA to ship it generally cheaper. (I've used them before for car care equipment, but I don't know how they are with bulky computer monitors)

To keep up to date with the Iz3d people check out their forum. http://forum.iz3d.com/ I'm no expert and I don't pretend to be, I just found the discount! :)

All in all, I won't be buying this monitor, I'm going to wait until the technology matures first. Avatar and other 3d blockbusters will be helping to continue the push.
