    • It's actually get $10 credit for every order over $100 using this code. Max use 3 times. Just explained badly

    Terrible offer.

Spend $300 get $30, please read.

Enter promo code REWARDS30 at checkout when you spend $100 or more across 3 separate orders online.

    So it's $30 credit for $300 spend :)

    • At best. It's a minimum of $100 spend per order.

    • I was offered $10 credit for $75 spend for two consecutive weeks each, I got $10
then I've got $10 credit for $95 spend for two consecutive weeks each, nothing really worth buying by then
that promo actually is the total spending within a week, no minimum spend, which works out better than this.

It's not targeted. It's on the website. You receive 10 Woolworths Dollars for every shop over $100 when using the code (up to three times maximum) till end of January. See https://www.woolworths.com.au/Shop/Discover/about-us/offers-…

I've already used the code twice. :-)

    Read deal before posting

  • +1

I received it too, better to just use a $10 off code going around for an instant $10 off $100 spend

    • +1

At the very least, it's a bit more legit than using the WOWMONEY code when you don't have a Woolies CC

  • I did right by when I knew it ain't worth posting at all on ozb. I miss $5 off $30 or $100 credit for 4 x $50 spend. Are they gone forever?

    • Similar offers will come back but not as often as they used to.

    • Got a few targeted EDR offers before Christmas, like instant $20 off $50. 40% discount on already 50% discounted products… $100RRP products for $30 ;-)

I don't think the negs are justified, OP was just a bit too excitable haha. $30 'woolworths bux' for 3 x $100 spends is achievable for a lot of people, although the $100 threshold will put off people (like me, I spend like $30/week on groceries).

  • +3

Spend $100+ online and get $10 credit. Code can be used up to 3 times.

Neg'd for woolies was very misleading on the email they sent. Not for you.

    • 100% agree, this Company is very quickly becoming a snake in grass, to try and gain market share.

    • WW… now very sly and sneaky. My last port of call these days.

  • +3

Power users or mods will get around to fixing the exact details of the offer soon.

Woolworths explained the offer very badly in their email so the confusion by the OP is understandable.

It's only a good deal if you were going to spend $100 online anyway. I prefer the $10 off $50 instore type of offers as this fits in better with my spending pattern.

  • +2

They have targeted people like OP who won't understand the deal and go on to spend money.

  • +3

Thanks for the comments. Not a good deal agree. Thankfully posted before spending money. Sorry for wasting everybody's time

I got this emailed to me as well. I used to be quite loyal to Woolies a while a go, shopping there every week. But after a few bad experiences I have made the switch to Coles. Definitely happy with the change, Woolies seem so desperate now to win back customers. I also get the odd products from Aldi now as well. Once Lidl arrives it will really shake things up! Anyone know when they are expected to start opening stores here?

    • In WA we're still waiting for Aldi (mid 2016) and Costco (202x?). Must be nice to have some choice haha.

      • Ah that's not good. You could get someone to buy your groceries from Aldi in another state then send them via courier. With the total cost added up, it will still work out cheaper than Woolies!

    • I have switched to Coles as well. Cheaper fruit & veg, better rewards program. Also I've noticed I haven't had any items scanning at a higher price than shelf at Coles. At Woolies, items routinely scan higher. I got so sick of having to get the assistant over to adjust the price. I do small shops, so I notice. People doing bigger shops couldn't possibly keep track of the prices of all their items, and are being routinely ripped off. The scan higher scam is just part of their business model I would guess. Not nice.

  • nearly gave a plus without reading the comments … I think the header need to be corrected to something like Argonbay or Tightarse suggestion.

  • Too complicated and not that big of an reward. And they wonder why Woolworths is losing to Coles/Aldi

  • As noted, very misleading description. Should say "on each shop of $100" not "across 3".

    Blaming woollies, not the OP

  • Just buy a wish card and have 10% off petrol.

    • Online?

  • I don't regard this as bargain.

  • Should the offer be amended to reflect that the credit is for Woolworths dollars. At the moment it's not clear exactly how the "credit" will be applied.

My understanding is that Woolworths dollars can only be redeemed instore, although I'm happy to be corrected on this one.

I still think this is a good deal for people who use WW online lots of times but if the Woolworths dolalrs can't be used online then it's only good for people who do some shopping online and other shopping instore.

    • Can I redeem Woolworths Dollars when shopping at Woolworths Online?

Yes, you can choose to redeem your available Woolworths Dollar discounts before paying for your shopping online.

Ensure your Rewards card is linked to your Woolworths Online account. If you're unsure, login to woolworthsonline.com.au, click 'My Account', then 'Woolworths Rewards'. To register your card, simply enter the 13-digit number on the back.

You'll see the amount you have available to redeem next to 'Woolworths Rewards' located within your payment summary. Click ‘redeem off next shop’ to use this amount towards your order. You'll then need to pay any outstanding balance with another form of payment.

To redeem all your Woolworths Dollar discounts, your shopping must cost the same, or more than, the amount in your balance. For example, if your Woolworths Dollars balance is $20 you spend $18 in a shop, you'll get $10 off. However, if your balance is $20 and you spend $28 in an eligible shop, you'll get $20 off.

  • I bought with amount 131.8 and enter the code when checked out, but it seemed nothing happen, I checked my reward card here: https://www.woolworths.com.au/Shop/MyAccount/WoolworthsRewar… and it shows there is $0 in my reward card, any ideas? Greate OZBarganers.

PS: I have linked the reward card and can confirm it did show when I checked out the order.

  • It has happened with me too
    what to do now ?
