Nestle Quality Street 725g Tin - $6.25 (Was $25) @ Woolworths (in store only)

730

Yes, another Woolworths post-Christmas special but hopefully worthy of it's own post due to the decent chocolate bang-for-buck ratio and the alleged saving of $18.75 which according to Woolworths special maths is half price.
Heaps at my local, hope yours has plenty too.
Remember to brush your teeth :)

Edit: Sold out online. Check your local store for stock

The Woolies sign says "Better than Half Price" which is correct. These are made in the UK so quality product.

But I bet they still don't have enough green triangles in the tin!

Probably about 6 in my last tin. I don't even know what's inside them, I just eat them. I might do a count tonight if I get time and post the quantity of each variety.

        • @unity1: Don't they have that Big Purple one anymore?

        • @Firey1989: Yes, that's the Hazelnut in Caramel

        • @unity1: Oh, didn't think it had caramel in it.

        • @unity1: It used to be a brazil nut before they got too expensive.

    • you sure it not "design in the UK, Made in China"?

      • Made in the UK. Keep clear from the ones made in South Africa as they don't taste as good.

    • they're no good compared to the originals of my childhood though.
Way too sweet, low quality compound chocolate.

They were $5 per tin @ Strathpine Woolies with about 10 tins left @ midday today.

  • These have never been $25 in Woolworths

Damnit! Bought a tin a few days before Christmas for $10 and I haven't even opened it yet and I thought it was an great price for it. Next year, I'm waiting for after!

  • Had the Roses tins for $7 as well as the Quality Street for $6.25 at the Surry Hills branch.

  • i suggest buy one tin only as its 725g difficult to finish by one person as per the expiry date of 04/16…note my friend last year grabbed three tins on similar deal and got diarrhea …lol

  • Had a look around Woolworths Indro and Ashgrove and no stock at either (not that I could find at least). Yesterday, Indro had big Roses tins for $14 but not a good enough bargain for me. I had one QS tin given to me for Xmas and wanted to give it a friend or two, so the search will continue!

  • There must be a drop in seasonal demand - Post Christmas and everyone with their weight -loss new year's resolutions.

  • Bought 3. Lots left at my local. Best before is June.

  • Just bought 16 tins of these delicious quality streets for $100 lol

    • Wow that's dedication.
Hope you have somewhere cool to store them.

  • I hope so; never thought in that sense; expiry may-16 thou :) would love it if me and my kids would be able to finish those off..

  • I bought the last four tins at Elizabeth, SA. They were in the regular chocolate section with no price tag at all so I took one up to the counter and just asked them to scan it was $6.25. I can handle that four tins of Quality Street's for $25. I think they're much better than Roses too.

  • Still tons at Marion SA, had atleast 30
