178

I've created this service after being frustrated by the price of condoms from subscription services as well as in-store at Coles and Woolworths.
Happy to answer any questions!

          @lyl:
Do you know how to consent yet?

        • Does your hand know about this plan?

    • you forgot the word sexual in the last sentence between very and frustrating :)

    • Probably frustrated at paying the $5.99 on top of the hourly rate.

Happy wife/girlfriend happy life, 3 condoms wont have a happy wife/girlfriend

    • assuming you have the 'demanding' type.

      • +1

More than 3-ice a month will cost a lot in unneeded Gifts and nagging lol !

    • You got it wrong,

      Happy Life, Happy Wife

Swallow the redpill, prioritise your life and others will follow. You will need more a proper Durex 24 pack every month then.

    • @LoveBargin15

Especially if you have both.. but thens a whole different set of problems!

      • I am assuming you are either have a happy wife or girlfriend instead of having both. If you have both then you may have a happy life for a short while then sad life for the rest.

      3 condoms wont have a happy wife/girlfriend

For most married men… the more attempts made, the less chance of success.

Always remember that old saying that it's better to "let sleeping dogs lie".

  • Can I trade in the used ones for recycling? I'll even rinse them out first.

  • 3 per month? That's 1 per week with 1 week off when its a no go zone!

    • -3

But that is the best time to do it?

    • +6

Remember, when downstairs is closed, upstairs is always open..

    • +2

      backdoor also open for some…

  • +2

If they are shipped in an envelope there is a high possibility of them getting punctured.

  • -2

What about if people need over 9000? Lol

    • Bulk order form China?

  • 3 per day please!!!…..LOL!!!

  • +2

Will you offer a refund in the event of failure?

    • I hope they do. That's why you take out product liability insurance or they will send out the morning after pill

      • What about the 4-week after pill by the time you find out?

        • +1

          Claim it on insurance.

    • If you're lucky Coles might even give you a gift card

      • In return for the faulty product, or the resulting child?

    • +1

$2 won't even cover the test to confirm it failed, let alone the ongoing support costs.

      • True, but I could use the refund to start an ING account for baby…

  • +5

Do you offer ultra thin? Do they come quicker?

    • We've only organised regular at the moment but we could definitely have an option for ultra thin.
Same day dispatch when you subscribe and then shipped on the same day each month.

      • I also recommend offering latex-free ones..

      • +13

        You missed the joke.

        • Hard to miss….

    • +5

With ultra thins, they won't come quicker.

      You will.

Dick smith is looking for a new business. I think dick would be right into these.

    • +3

are you suggesting some kind of cover-up?

    • +4

It doesn't even need to change its marketing strategy: http://imgur.com/L6OBADC

  • Do they have to be used all on the same person?

    • +1

I don't think so. As on "A Current Affair", I have seen some people with 3-5 wives

      • +5

Even with 10 wives, 3 condoms a month is going to be 3 too many.

Girlfriends/Fluesies/Tinder dates on the other hand….

          @useful:

Not sure if you're on it, but ACA and Today Tonight aren't meant to be taken seriously - they're thinly disguised comedy and sketches shows.

        • @AlexF: I agree. Everything they create is made to sound like crazy

  • -1

Do they cum with a test drive shack? :-)

  • I'd be lucky to use one before it expires… forever alone

  • I am right into a green planet - Do you offer a recycling service?

  • -1

three a month? i need three a DAY!

    • Are you Mr . HULK ?

  • +2

Is this a joke? If so I don't get it? 12 Ansell condoms at Woolies is $5.49. With this "service" it'd be $8. What am I missing?

    • +1

and it's the normal price not a "Deal"

    • +1

      The "free" postage? ;-)

  • I see a lot of comments complaining about not being "cheap" enough… I think this is one area in life fellas you shouldn't skimp out on lol….

    • +1

the point is that even durex is cheaper in places like chemist warehouse

    • see a lot of comments complaining about not being "cheap" enough… I think this is one area in life fellas you shouldn't skimp out on

3 rolls of glad wrap costs MORE that this deal, doesn't it?

  • Well done on frangers for setting this up. Was this a new years resolution?

It would be great if you had a viral video like Michael from the dollar shave club, the valuation of his business is now several hundred million of those American dollars.

  • +3

If you want cheaper I figure you can get 500 for $10.99 here.
    https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/browse/bags-food-wraps-cl…

    • Description also seems to fit the task.

    • Almost all resulting babies will be made in Australia.

  • What's the use-by date on them? I'm worried I won't get to use the 3 in time…

  • As the great Kevin Wilson once said "Just get yaself a rubber band and some gloves and you'll get 10 (profanity)"

  • Will the envelope come with rings imbedded in it like my wallet?

  • +1

You should have started with a trade for Dick Smith gift cards like Kogan… 'Somewhere to stick your ….'

  • If just one 2$ for 3 condoms per month forever, then I will be no doubt to raise my hands.

  • +1

Just buy a pair of rubber gloves for a $1. You will get 10 lays!

    • Ah geez this comment really cracked me up!!!!!

      • Better… Buy a female chicken, and get about 500 lays.

And all of them will be a crack up.

  • 3 too many for me.

    • 3 for the 'unsafe' period only ….

  • Do you have an annual one item per once a year on your birthday plan?

  • +1

I was expecting more graphic imagery in "Here's how it works". Just a box…

  • +4

+1 for having a crack. I love the subscription model from a business-owner perspective, but I rarely like it as a consumer. Unfortunately the order value might be too low for this to be sustainable.

For a better price you could create a 'birthday box' with 52 different types for each week. Any guy who got this on their birthday from girlfriend would be stoked. Something like that would justify a higher price than the supermarket cost.

    • different flavoured each week? Then at the end of the year, she tells you her favourite flavoured

      • +1

I think you guys are on to it. It needs to be at least 4 per month which is 1 per week.

Each delivery is a sample of a different style be it flavor, size, colour, shape, his/her etc

Mix it up with a flavor of the month?

For anyone who needs more than that go to woolies and buy your basic to get you through until your next delivery.

Makes for a good talking point at least once per week ;)

  • Based on the voting….

8 adults (neg) no embarrassment shopping at woolies vs 9 juviniles (+)
for the sake of online buying convenience from "so embarrassing" situations at woolies…

    • +1

Self check-out is designed for these "so embarrassing" situations.

    • Just don't buy a cucumber and condoms in the same shop, simple…

  • +2

largest difference between the number of votes and comments i have ever seen!

    • Sex is always a complicated topic….

      • You're doing it wrong then ;)

  • Do you offer a money back guarantee if I'm not satisfied with the product or overall experience?

    :/

  • I prefer to bareback.

This deal isn't for me :(

Any discounts on the implanon contraceptive implants including fitting?

  • Boink! Nice effort OP to make condom market more competitive :)

  • Outstanding domain name.

  • +1

I don't see how this is a bargain, especially when there's much cheaper ways to get condoms and it's not even a sale or special offer. These are the standard prices - this should be removed as it's just blatant spam/advertising.

  • +1

Buy your condoms from a random stranger more expensively. Not a bargain.

    • This.

Ah gee so many killjoys here. This post and replies made my work week. Give the poster a break. He had an idea. He's trying it out. He's bought some joy already to our lives here… The business plan is way above the Underpants Gnomes, and I've worked places the Underpants Gnomes are a few steps up in business plans…

Gee if this was a subscription service for an activity with your partner, like say Netflix or some fruit basket service, and you could get your partner on board.. Partner: "But we've already paid for the [bananas], We have to use them!!" Though after a long "partnership" most blokes are probably "let the xxxxing [bananas] rot…"

    • +1

So it goes like this, "Honey seeing as we have already paid for our 3 condoms per month subscription,we may aswell use one every 10 days."..?

    • His idea was to overcharge for condoms. It's business, which means it's cutthroat.

  • You gotta love condom posts. Proof that ozbargainers have an awesome sense of humour.

The op probably wishes we'd all be buying his stuff though…

  • Is there rollover (sorry) to the next month for unused quota?

    • Yes, so there are a few of us who could start up our own prophylactic emporium in a year or two. No seed money, just seed catchers.

  • Two suggestions.

    1. the font colour is too close to the background colour. Requires a lot of attention to read the text.

    2. if you offer Bitcoin payment option, you will get a very low transaction fee compare to credit card. I know Bitcoin subscription service is missing (automatically send bitcoins once a month), so I really should suggest this later when it is available.
