    Any IAPs?

    • +1

There are no IAPs for the free download period. All existing features are provided absolutely free. So there are no IAPs required for people who download during the free period.
The people who dont download during free period, have 1 IAP option which is for $2.99 to unlock marking off completed tasks.
So the people who get it now will never have to unlock its permanently unlocked.

      • I have installed it.
        1) Do I need to activate to unlock the free IAP?
        2) Will I keep the free IAP when I reinstall this app on my new phones in the future?

        • +1
          1. nope, its just free
          2. all the upgrades on your current phone will be free, but if you go to a new phone just send an email (via the support email, under Settings, website, email - [email protected] , or its also shown on the Playstore page) and you will get a free copy again. The only way I know how to change that would be to force users to login and authenticate via Google or Facebook, which will put off many people from using the app because they dont want to have to register and login.
        • @ThatSavingFeeling:

Can't you just not "consume" the SKU from the inventory? I believe they way it will not need manual intervention for people with multiple handsets on the same account

  • +7

Probably not the greatest name for something "people to do"

    • Contacts To Do, just didnt have the same ring to it.

      • +11

        Let me see:

        Milla Jovovich
        Natalie Portman
        Famke Janssen

        • +2

Thanks for reminding me about Famke, back in 5

        • You forget Jennifer Lawrence
And Hugh Jackman .. Oh wait

        • No he didn't forget. Leave him alone mate, different preferences.

        • @Jackson: Famke… for me, maybe back 5 years ago

      • I thought the name was just a short version of "things to see, people to do"

Installed and seems to be working on Sony Z5.

Looks nice and clean, but is there a way to put further sub categories, or even the ability to assign to multiple contacts?

      First task for supasayan
'Get mind out of the gutter'
Actually when I first heard the name Nintendo Wii I also thought that would fail
And it became number one console.
(Wii U was a fail but the next one Wii Me might be good)

    • Well, what else would we do if we couldn't do people?

      • +4

        Ask New Zealand…

        • Baaaa baaaa!

          @KaptnKaos:

          Baaaa baaaa!

"Go back to sleep darling, it's not morning yet."

        • That's why I don't eat NZ lamb.

          @Utopian:
          Why not? Extra protein.

"Is the mint jelly off? It's making my mouth tingle."

          No honey, it's NZ lamb.

Special edition for standover men: people to do over.

  • +1

So this will replace my little black book?

    • +5

It will harbour better relationships for all areas of life; love, social, family, work.

      • Love?

        Well, what can I say…

  • Good idea. You should send it off to all the world leaders, and offer special PD to leaders in Middle East!

    • in Middle East

Need a good life insurance deal first…

  • Is there a version for tablets?

  • The screenshots that are seen on the playstore, I took them on my 7" samsung galaxy tab. Let me know if you have any problems on your tablet? In 1-2 months I'm going to redesign the graphics so that it looks a lot better, add in material design layout.

    • Play store says not compatible with my Nexus 10 and Nexus 7 tablets. *8v(

      • Are you able to install anyway? The App is theoretically compatible with nearly 8000 devices, including nexus 7. But i cant see nexus 10 in the list.

Having same problem with Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5". Unable to install if not compatible.

    • Play store doesn't allow me to install on my Sony xperia z3 compact tablet, stating it's incompatible…
      😞

  • Who are the ten downloads? Any OzB`ers downloaded yet?

Thinking do I become the test mule……love lists and to-do`s.

Pity that free procrastination app was only for ios!

    • The download meter is very delayed.

Its been through quite a lot of beta testing already.

It will ask for permission to access SMS. But it does not send off any SMS.

It will prompt for user to confirm if it should create a new SMS message with the Task information populated into the new message window and address it to the Contact related to the task. Then the message can be edited or even cancelled. But it can only be sent off if the user clicks the Send button..

  • Just released and r.8 based of 4 very suspicious looking reviews that imply the app has been used for a while "very good for my busy lifestyle". Could be beta testers or something but found this offputting and will pass.

Kris has been doing beta testing for 8 weeks and works in a sales job for a paint company. And some of the other guys have been using in beta mode aswell.
Here are the APKs we've been testing on since Nov. 20th.

The app is not perfect, I'm on limited time, limited resources and has been my part time focus for the last 6 months.
It doesn't have perfect graphics, but it solves a real world problem.

Respectfully I challenge you to use it as a real organizer and see if it's unique features do not meet a 4 or 5 star rating based at least on its function and purpose of solving the problem of organizing using a single app.

  • Hey mate do you have a Web interface or is it app only?

    • Hi, the web interface is due to come in future, in around 2 months.

  • Forced closed on Nexus 6p

    • Looking into bug on those devices, sorry. Will update when resolved.

  • iOS if ever?

  • +1

Crashes straight away for me on CM13. It looks like the app tries to read text messages without declaring READ_SMS in the manifest.

    • Will look into this.

      • The latest build fixes it. To be honest, I probably don't need another organiser in my life, but I wish you good luck with it. :)

  • +1

    Love the video example!
    People to do:
    1) You
    2) Adrian
    3) Brett
    4) Mum

There's a party at his house!

  • Crashes for me too, as soon as it is opened. Nexus 5, marshmallow rooted.

    01-10 12:11:19.662 E/AndroidRuntime(18339): java.lang.RuntimeException: Unable to start activity ComponentInfo{com.ppltodo.application/com.ppltodo.application.peopletodo.main_activity.MainActivity}: java.lang.SecurityException: getLine1NumberForDisplay: Neither user 10147 nor current process has android.permission.READ_SMS.

    • Nexus is all fixed up now.

  • My ASUS memopad isn't compatible

    • I think its a resources bug, it will be fixed hopefully tomorrow. Will update then.

  • My Samsung Note 8.0 is not compatible!

    • +1

I think its a resources bug, it will be fixed hopefully tomorrow. Will update then.

  • Meh. function recently added on Gcalendar works this treat but no crashes

    • its all good? any other feedback?

    • Looks fine, good work. just downsizing on apps.

  • Crashes right away for me too, what a shame.

    • Danzha, it's been updated to v0.33 with nexus fix. It works good on nexus virtual test environment, but I dont have this device to test on. Can you let me know if the update works for you? If nots a nexus device, what are you using?

      • You can confirm the version number under the app's Settings icon.

        • +1

I'm on a nexus and can confirm that it is working.

Probably not going to use it, however thought I'd at least help you check that the fix works.

          Good luck to you guys!

        • @danzha:

          thats great to hear thanks

      • The update fixed it for me (unrooted Nexus 6).

  • how do I delete a task from a contact? there seems to be no option?

    • Just mark the task as done. It will go the History tab but is removed from the main tasks page.
      Does that answer your query?

      • No it does not. For example I accidentally click on the wrong contact when creating the task. It's something general and repeatable that I may want to do and keep track of with the contact I accidentally clicked on. But since I can't delete the task it will always be there and I will mistakenly think I did something I did not.

Honestly, deletion is one of the most basic functions in an app. Why you don't have it already is beyond me.
