Did you learn nothing from your last disaster post? - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/229669

A good idea would also to not call these just Undies. What if you add other styles? It's best to name their style name to avoid future branding confusion.

    • Learnt a lot. We listened and we came up with a better deal, it's a bigger discount and fixed some errors that were made.

    • cheers for the feedback. Better to call them briefs?

      • +2

You can enter multiple deal codes in the section provided, just separate them with a comma, it looks messy as is.
Need to list original price to help show discount too.

        • cheers. Better?

        • +1

          @FreshiesClubAU:

Much better. General tip for all future OzB postings, make them stupid easy to read and understand. A general rule for all your communication, you know what the deal is, but no one else outside the company has the same knowledge as you guys, so you need to make it clear as hell. Assume everyone knows nothing.

        • @snuke: Cheers snuke, thanks for the help and duly noted for future posts.

  • Read the rules, you've exceeded your posting rights for the week, vote average is 0 or below.

    • Also we don't see ANY information on the subscription. No normal pricing, nothing. Negged.

Also it's not even on the subscription it's on the first order only? This is stupid and spam.

      • read the post, you can cancel anytime.

        • +3

You read the post, title says 50% off SUBSCRIPTION. Change it to first order, because NOTHING about the actual subscription is cheaper.

        • You can buy the pack on subscription and cancel straight away. That's the deal.

    • That is incorrect. You can see the posting limits on their store page.

You also should read the voting guidelines as your vote is currently invalid.

I'd also recommend not being so rude however that is just a suggestion.

I'd also recommend not being so rude however that is just a suggestion.

      • I am confused, you’re a mod that says the above is an incorrect use of negative vote, then why not remove it?

        • I made the comment before I went to sleep with the hope the commenter

          • revokes it themselves
          • lists a reason that is valid

The user has yet to come back.

        • @neil:

          Gotcha

  • no splinters

Umm… Yeah… Would've hoped that would be obvious!

    • +1

You would hope so, but it's one of the most asked/joked about questions we get.

  • +2

what if you're getting some bad batch of bamboos? Means, those bamboos were not completely and thoroughly processed, leaving fiber (hair/sheath) from the bamboo stems, on the final product (brief/underwear) ? I bet I'll be scratching the hell out of my d*** on that bad brief day, and had wish that i'd better stick to cotton in the beginning.. just my 2cents. Do i get a guarantee of comfort on that?

    • +2

haha, your junk well looked after, it feels like cashmere and rainbows.

      • +1

thank you for looking after my junk, but as i said i'm not sure if your supplier will look after mine, as i mentioned, BAD BATCH of bamboos, such as BAD BATCH of milk outcomes bad yogurt, bad batch of cloth outcomes uneven tailored shirt etc. Thanks for the reply anyway.

        • +1

We are the supplier, not saying we take every pair for a spin….but we do the bad batch test for sure.

edit we design and manufacture in our own factory. Controlled by us. We have tested many a pair on many men (with beards) equipment and all have conclude it's like a cool summer breeze floating through your sacred regions and whisks you away to a place of peace and serenity or something like that.

        • +2

@FreshiesClubAU: so may i assume that maybe either Josh , Aaron & Craig, involved in the whole process turning live bamboo to pulp (cloth) sheet, from harvesting of bamboos to making pulps and sheets? (as you've mentioned that you guys are the supplier of the bamboos)

        • +6

We trek through the harshest jungles of suburbia to find the best strands of bamboos, quality is key and we are the john west of bamboo, then we talk to a magician that conjures up a ripper spell that turns bamboo into the best material (because magical powers) since swede, we have a few beers while we wait then we give it to the tailors that make dreams come true. No word of a lie, it comes out glowing like Excalibur (maybe exaggerating)

    • I don't think you need to worry about discomfort. Bamboo fabric is not usually made from actual fibres of the bamboo plant, but from a bamboo-derived cellulose liquid forced through a small hole to produce filaments which are then solidified.

Plus votes for reps comments….better price and id consider buying but for now ill keep my hessian potato sacks loosely stitched with twine

    • jump on the website or our instagram page and enter for a free subscription. It's on the top left of the page.

      • +3

actually at the moment, if you post you hessian potato sacks loosely stitched with twine on our instagram you are 100% guaranteed to win.

    • .better price and id consider

Better than what? What are you comparing them too, other bamboo ones, or other cotton ones?

  • I may have missed it but an indication of the sizing would be handy. As in what will the small size fit as opposed to the X-Large? 65cm waist or 165cm waisst

    • size guide is on the website below the price.

  • +2

Do people really wear out their undies that quickly that they need a fresh batch every 3 months? Maybe I'm out of the loop, but I have a hard time imagining there are a lot of people willing to pay over $10 per pair plus $7 shipping every 3 months ($5 per pair is just the first order), versus buying 5-10 pairs for $2-3 each once a year at Kmart/wherever.

    • Am with you on that but as a one off order it may not be too bad. I have some bamboo socks and they are quite nice.

    • Just buy some ExOfficio's.

Costs more upfront, but superior in just about every way, and they just do not die.

    • nothing wrong with kmart, there is plenty of reasons why a guy wears good underwear though, actually there is maybe two reasons at best; girls and comfort. If you haven't tried bamboo material, treat yourself. If you can find me some bamboo underwear for $2-3 I'll give you some for free (send me an email if you can and I'll send you a pair)

      • Had to eat my words on this one. It wasn't apples for apples but I appreciated the effort and sent him a free pair.

  • Just signed up and tried to place an order, code didn't work.

    • try again mate, tested the codes and they work.

      • Same for me getting message "This code did not match any active gift card or discount. Was it entered correctly?" I presume it is meant to be entered into the box that says DISCOUNT on the right hand side of the page?

        • Make sure you are Subscribing. Item in cart should say 'Auto Renew'

  • Tempted to try it out, just need some sizing info. Bamboo clothing sound interesting, would like ve to hear about the benefits it has over other materials.

    • Bamboo rocks, I only wear Bamboo Textiles http://bambootextiles.com.au/ socks. Never would have thought one could become so passionate about the socks they wear, but by jingo by crikey, they’re awesome.
Same goes for sheets, bamboo. I haven’t done undies yet, but that is because no one makes them in the style I like.
Like everything, not all bamboo products are the same, the quality and quantity of bamboo makes a huge difference, hence me sticking to the one brand of socks that got it right. Sheets have been hit and miss, and now I can’t get the ones I like anymore, and they are expensive to get and have fail in quality.

      • +1

Yeah, I've also had hits and misses with bed sheets. Ettitude has a good range with nice material, but the stitching has been pretty bad (loose threads). Bamboo Bed and Bath has quality products but their range is a bit limited. Have you tried actual linen? It's about twice the price of bamboo though :-(

Bamboo socks certainly feel nice, but the pairs I have don't seem very durable so far. Maybe drop the bamboo content to 80% and the rest polyester? Never tried bamboo underwear because I'm too happy with the Obviously brand of modal underwear. This subscription idea seems silly for anyone who doesn't suffer from anal leakage. Ewwww. Maybe they could market this to pr0n actors…

        • The B Textile socks used to wear out relatively quickly, they reduced the bamboo content from 90ish percent to now 64% Bamboo/ 28% Tencel/ 8% Elastane in the Sport Crew I use. They now last like a regular sock. I was happy to have more bamboo and holes quicker as they aren’t as great now, but stull better than anything else I have tried.

Never tried full linen sheets. The ones I have been happiest with is Conran which I got from CotD. I do have a set form Bamboo bed + bath, got through deal on here. First set pilled up super quick, Alanna looked after me and replaced the fitted. But they didn’t hold up quite as well as Conran so haven’t been back.
They are far more susceptible to pill the pillow cover with a non-shaven face, and the colouring will go off quickly too, but I can live with that for the benefits.

        • @snuke:

Interesting. Did you wash them correctly? Cold water, appropriate detergent, dry in shade.

        • We have sourced the best bamboo fabric, it doesn't pill, sag, ride up, lose elasticity quickly and it's a thick quality fabric. Imo bamboo is the best fabric out at the moment, it has the same qualities as merino wool and no sheep has to lose it's coat.

        • @kahn:

Wash, yes, followed Alanna's advice and same brand of powder she recommended. Dry, no, always in open.
The white sheets I have, actually look like I have had a homeless bum sleeping in them, a displeasing brown in the higher pressure zones. The greys are just darker in the same zones.

        • @FreshiesClubAU:

So you;re saying if I have these against my unshaven (not your hipster beard length, just unshaven) face for several hours per day, they won't pill?

        • @snuke: shaven like the day you were born proof and hipster beard proof except not as ironic.

  • Alright i just made an order for the quad pack.

On your site it says random colours, in this ozbargain post it says Limited use. Colour Black. (i hope they are ALL black)

I also hope your large sizing is consistent with 99% of every other retail brand or else I'm going to be not to happy about it.

I've never used bamboo underwear before and lets see how it goes. if anyone else is interested i'll update the post when i have received them.

    • Yes I agree. The deal sounds good now - worth a try, but we have no idea of the sizing. How about a waist cm range to go with the sizes?

      • cheers for the order. The sizing is consistent, large fits a 34-36 inch waist comfortably. We have done a lot of research on quality, comfort, style and fit. Once you get the order you'll understand that I'm not shooting air up your arse. Also only black is available.

        • Oh really? okay.. well maybe i may have to cancel my order / adjust it.. i am a size 38 and typically a large fits comfortable.. do you suggest going for XL?

        • yeah, 38 I would go XL. We can just adjust the order for you. Email us the details.

        • @FreshiesClubAU:

          Cheers - sending through now.

  • You need an 'Update Cart' button. If I change the quantity in the cart, there is no way to reload the cart to change the price & quantity. You have to remove the item, then go back to the item page and add it again.

Also in effect, it's not a 50% discount, it's $20.90 off. I tried to get a Large and an Xlarge at 50% off and it won't go.

Actual price each $6.98 (for a quad pack)

    • I've talked to the IT guy and he's not sure how to have multiple orders on the day, it's setup 1 customer per deal. If you sign up with 2 different names send us an email and we'll make the shipping include both orders.

  • Just bought a quad pack, but don't need a new set every 3 months. How do I unsubscribe? You should seriously think about removing that as it's pretty odd, who wants the same thing every 3 months?
    Cheers

    • I received an email about a subscription then viewed my account and hit cancel.

      • It's easy and free to change subscriptions, you can change at anytime, or cancel if you're not happyy. The email you receive when you purchase has your account details and can manage from there.

P.S. If you cancel because you're unhappy, please let us know via email, telling us we're shit is the only way we can improve.

  • Cheers, yeah its obvious now but the website is a bit scarce for details. They might want to improve it considering they quit their day jobs!

    • Cheers for the feedback. Working on more details and ease of use.

  • +1

Bonds are shocking quality these days and way overpriced so gave them a go since they are reasonably priced. Ordered 4 and cancelled subscription, if they are good I'll buy more later

    • This is the exact identical reason on why i had done it lol.

      • Bonds were pretty solid for awhile, I never got into them but they had a big following.

  • how long will it takes before i receive my first order ??

    • All orders are sent on day of purchase. Should be 3-4 days max.

      • Damn I thought these were coming from overseas. I got the shipping confirmation on the 15th and haven't received mine yet. Should I be worried?

      • Nevermind, came this morning!

  • I have just received mine today.

I had changed my order from Large (I'm large in everything else, to XL, They seem still (Just the perfect? Amount of tightness)
I can say they are comfortable, fit decent and are pretty nice quality.. I wore them for around an hour this afternoon when i received them, and they are pretty comfortable. for $27.90 for the quad pack, that is good priced for the quality vs bonds.

    • Update.

I'm getting pretty itchy sitting on my computer chair.. like uncontrollably itchy.

      • Did you wash them first? Might help.

Pu-lease don't be telling us you're sitting in front of your computer in your undies scratching :-)

        • Heheheh, Not washed yet - not itchy was just me being itchy

        • @Catalystic: love the update. I don't get the itch but don't mind sitting around in my underwear

  • Pretty happy with these. Very good quality and nice firm but comfortable fit. Nice bamboo material. Only thing took a while to get used to was the thick strong elastic which is uncovered, made me a bit itchy at first. Will likely buy again when I need more.
