As I've seen many good deal from TPG and many people are going to change their ISP. You might need a new modem+router+wireless or what ever to get compatible with Adsl2+. This company offers it cheaper than you buy from TPG when you sign up.

Ex. TPG sells Dynalink RTA1025W at $149.95 but here you can get at $70.
or Dynalink RTA1046VW at $169.95 but here $128.
So you can save a lot if you compare with TPG.

Product Description

Billion 7401VGPR3 Product Description

Truly Cost Savings

Making VoIP calls with toll-quality is extremely simple; just connect the router to your existing telephone sets. The BiPAC 7401VGP R3 complies with the most popularly adopted VoIP industrial standard, SIP protocol, to ensure the interoperability with SIP devices and major VoIP Gateways. One RJ-11 FXO port is integrated to transmit inbound and outbound calls through PSTN Fixed-line, so that users may still be able to receive phone calls through PSTN, while enjoying VoIP service at the same time. In addition, outgoing calls will be automatically redirected to PSTN when the Internet or VoIP service is not available. The router also supports a wider range of telephony features, such as call waiting, silence suppression, line echo cancellation, caller ID, etc.

Express Internet Access

This router complies with worldwide ADSL standards. It supports downstream rates of up to 12/24 Mbps with ADSL2/2+, 8 Mbps with ADSL, and upstream rates of up to 1 Mbps. With this technology, users enjoy not only high-speed ADSL service but also broadband multimedia applications such as interactive gaming, video streaming and real-time audio much more quickly and easily than ever. In particular, by doubling the upstream data rate, the Annex M standard included in the BiPAC 7401VGP R3A modelsupports the latest ADSL2/2+ for higher upload speeds

Wireless Mobility and Protection

An integrated 802.11g Wireless Access Point offers quick yet easy access with data encryption for added security. The Wireless Protected Access (WPA-PSK / WPA2-PSK) and Wireless Encryption Protocol (WEP) features enhance the level of transmission security and access control over Wireless LAN. The BiPAC 7401VGP R3 also supports Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) standard, allowing users to establish a secure wireless network by simply pushing a button. If your network requires wider coverage, the built-in Wireless Distribution System (WDS) repeater function allows you to expand your wireless network without the need for any external cables.

Smooth and Responsive Net Connection

Quality of Service (QoS) gives you full control over outgoing data traffic. Priority can be assigned by the router to ensure that important data like gaming packets, customer information, or management information passes through the router at lightning speed, even under a heavy load. You can also control the speed of different types of outgoing data passing through the router to ensure that users do not saturate your bandwidth with their browsing activities.

  • Having purchased a modem from JMG Tech to use with Exetel, the service & comms is fantastic. Jason knows his stuff and is always happy to help. He has discount deals for other ISPs as well. I'm a happy customer and not affiliated to JMG.

  • Hmmm…I'm not sure how much of a deal using someones dealer code (and them then getting commission) really is…but that might just be me:P At least you were up front saying it was your code, and not claiming it as anything else - I think I'll sit on the fence for the moment :D

  • thanks wil be using shortly once telstra sets up my line =) optus cable atm , it is a deal as we end up getting savings we normally wouldn't.

  • can anyone give me an idea on which modem to buy?
I need one that is a wireless access point, but theres a few different ones..I don't know which one is better…I don't need voip…
    please help lol..

  • purchased Billion 7401VGPR3 from Jason for Exetel, Great & quick service from him, No issues at all +1

  • The only problem to this would be if the modem is for someone who's not IT savvy much…if they get the modem straight from TPG, it'd come pre-configured with their modem username and password. Any chance you could provide that service as well, Jason?

  • +1 for JMG here too. I just joined TPG a couple of months back and got my Dynalink RTA1025W through them for half price.

  • Another thumbs up for jmg. Very helpful and good prices.
