  • What are the savings here? What's the normal price?

    • has been this price the entire month

      • Well not much of a deal then is it?

        • Sir! No Sir!

For those interested in this, this is a Clover Trail Atom processor from late 2012. Definitely not going to be fast and will be demolished by the current Cherry Trail platform (even Bay Trail was a huge step up).

Intel made some huge developments in low powered atom's the past few years, it's a noticeable impact.

With the transleeve keyboard though, this wouldn't make a bad netbook. Shame it's a low res though.

  • Does the LTE part make this worthwhile?

    • No

I think it does, and that it has 2GB RAM. I had an ME400c tears ago and it served me well even without the extra RAM (mine was 1GB).

For media playback and internet browsing this will do fine especially with Windows 10.

      • I still use my me400c, it wasnt even supposed to be supported to update to windows 8.1, let alone windows 10. However I have forced it to update to windows 10 and there are some bugs such as missing text in Cortana and the settings menu.

        • Thanks for the tip. I would've just assumed it could be automatically upgraded to windows 10.

Doesn't the product have less value now though if windows 10 is not supported. Its a tablet so having access to the latest windows 10 universal apps would be important not to mention the latest operating system.

        • I have not really using Cortana, but I have updated mine to Win10 and didnt really see any issue.

The main issue I found with this little thing is you cant find a proper sleeve/case for it.

Otherwise, I feel it is quite good. And the LTE may be useful to someone, mine dont have it.

        • @netbies: i bought the case and bluetooth keyboard combo from centrecom, seems official as it had the model name and microsoft branding. Yea, the missing text is really minor.

I've got that from amazon too. But it wasn't fit quite right. The magnet seems to have been put on the wrong side. If you have search the web about this, you will find all official cover have the same problem. Didin't you have it?

I have the problem that the cover didnt stick to the machine.

        • @netbies: I see, though mine's a totally different cover, it's a velcro-stick-inside pouch with magnetic bluetooth keyboard

        • @hilariouspowerr:

          I see….

  • So old…
