Hi all

Thought I would add a genuine bargain to the list of Bing Lee items filling up Ozbargain.

This is the Kenwood CCC201WH Kcook Multicooker - it is on sale at Bing Lee eBay for $399.00

With the CBINGLEE20 code will bring down the price to $319.20
Original deal - Original 20% off Bing Lee eBay deal

It's like a thermomix for tight-arses like me! It chops, stirs and cooks. Apparently there is an app with recipes you can download as well.

Remember to save even more with cash rewards (2% back I believe)

Other places are selling this bit of kit for around $515-600 - see here http://www.staticice.com.au/cgi-bin/search.cgi?q=Kenwood+KCO…

Apparently may come with a free bowl and electronic scales - see here http://www.kenwoodworld.com/en-au/products/kcook-multi-cooke… - apparently these are worth $199RRP and $69.95RRP (although I'm sure the RRP is BS). Not sure how these are redeemed.

Happy buying

  • "Like a Thermomix" but without the pricetag or the loony users.

I've got a HotMixPro (thermocooker, like this) and these things are very useful.

  • Out of curiosity, what is equally good to a thermomix without the hefty pricetag? Would this be up there?

    • I just bought one so will see what it's like. The thermomix is a great bit of kit that can chop and mix with the same insert. One side is a blade. The other is blunt and it just turns in reverse to mix. It also has scales built into the unit and apparently a bunch of reviews built Into the little Computer on board.

There is also a Bellini brand knock off available from target for about $250. That's also meant to be good. My sister in law loves her Bellini. I'm going to give this name brand one a crack. The reviews are good. No way I'm spending $2.5k on a thermomix

  • not available anymore on the site

  • +1

The motor is only 150w, has only 3 speed settings and only 3 temperature settings. I think you would be better with one of the other thermomix knock offs rather than this one. Don't get me wrong I like Kenwood stuff generally just this one doesn't look good enough.

    • All very valid points. Regardless it is well reviewed and $200 cheaper then the next cheapest. Was a bargain when it was available. I'll make a few curries and report back.

      • There is no doubt that you found a bargain, its the cheapest by far! I hope you get heaps of great use out of it.

    • Wow, that's abysmal. Yeah, that's not close to useful.
